Will "Joey" come to DVD?
With the popularity of Friends. I figured they would do a quick release of "Joey" Season 1 set. Anyone know if they are making plans? I stop watching because of The OC. So I want to buy the set ASAP.

The earliest it would get a release is a year from now, though if Scrubs is any indication it will be a few years. NBC will still show the reruns over the summer so it won't get released before then.
They released Las Vegas quickly, but I don't know if the fact that it's an hour long and less likely to be syndicated had a role.

NBC has nothing to do with if Joey hits DVD.
Scrubs is a Touchstone property.
Joey is a Warner property.
Las Vegas is an NBC in-house production (e.g. Universal property).
Joey might in fact get a DVD release sooner or later due to the fact Warner has made quite a bit of chump change due to their DVD releases of Friends.

probably not, I think everyone would agree that while joey is a decent show, it's not nearly as good as friends. So i doubt this would effect those sales.

I watched the first half dozen or so and it was forgettable at best, and I loved Friends.
