The absence of "Survivor" in the 8 p.m. hour allowed NBC to grab the top spot with "Joey," 8.2/13, and "Committed," 7.6/12. The debut of "Wickedly Perfect" on CBS was second at 6.7/10, well below the network's average for the time period. The relatively low ratings for CBS also helped FOX some, as "The O.C." posted a 4.8/7, an improvement over recent weeks. UPN was fourth with the first hour of "WWE Smackdown!" ABC's move of "life as we know it" to 8 p.m. didn't help much; the show posted a 3.1/5. The WB trailed with the movie "Summer Catch."

Once again this was a very funny episode. Drunk Seth was funny but annoying at the same time, but funny and annoying works for him. Summer was looking amazing as always, but for the first time last night I thought Lindsay was hotter than Alex. I hope they keep Lindsay on the show for a while, she was a good addition. I'm looking forward to 11 straight weeks of The O.C.

Guess I'm the sole dissenter--this was by far the WORST episode I've seen yet, even more so than the super-ultra-contrived "SnO.C." one a few weeks back. Drunk Seth was funny although fake as hell, the rest was a total snooze-fest. I want Marisa to shut up already and cut her wrists, and their short-changing Alex is getting really tiresome. I wanted to know who her houseguests were, why she acts all weird with Seth, etc. I guess they may be leaving that until future episodes but it was frustrating and not in a good way.

"But dude, I hardly talk" Ben MacKenzie seems to be quietly getting the best lines after Rachel Bilson this season.
And why, why, why do these people keep having parties? Has there ever been a party on the O.C. without a blow up?

I wasn't that impressed with the show either, but there definitely were some funny parts.
Why is everyone talking about Lindsay being a Cohen? She's not a Cohen - she's a Nichol. Sandy is a Cohen, as his wife and his son. If Lindsay is a Cohen, I guess that means that Hailey is as well.
