L&O - "Mammon" (1/5/05)

MAMMON
10pm 2005-01-05
ALL NEW!

Spoiler:
SLAYING OF WEALTHY HUSBAND HAS DETECTIVES POKING AROUND CARELESS WIFE -- AND HER BOYFRIEND -- Not long after a wealthy venture capitalist is found slain in his spacious home, Detectives Fontana (Dennis Farina) and Green (Jesse L. Martin) suspect the victim's feckless young wife (as Marley, guest star Andrea Roth) -- as well as the handsome contractor (as Tremont, guest star Daniel Sunjata) who installed the security system and was romantically dallying with the wannabe widow. On the legal side, A.D.A.s McCoy (Sam Waterston) and Southerlyn (Elisabeth Rohm) seek to turn the cheating wife against her ex-beau, but the bad boy's many "alibi girlfriends" and a second unexpected crime severely hamstring their prosecution. S. Epatha Merkerson and Fred Dalton Thompson also star. TV-14 (#337)

I cannot contain my excitement... we all know what happens next week!!!!!

<hr>

In all due respect...

R.I.P.

Yup.

The contractor was Franco (Daniel Sunjata) who is the firefighter with the kid and the uh... big... er... hose.

The wife of the murder victim was Janet (Andrea Roth) who is Tommy's ex-wife.

Pretty good ep in my book...

... but next week's is going to be 1000 times better.

Feels like a decade to me. Rohmbot hardly had any airtime in this episode. I when Arthur and just walked away without saying a word to Serena's bad boy comment. It's obvious he can't stand Serena on a professional or personal level.

The could have just taken the Franco character from Rescue Me for this episode.

I was positive on Franco, but not on the woman being Janet

"It's OK. I'm authorized."

That's the best line ever in this show.

I didn't see the montage. My PVR must have cut it off

What song or music was playing under it?

'Try to Remember' as a quiet instrumental over slo-mo L&O scenes of Jerry smiling and laughing.....
