The Amazing Race website recap from the episode before the recap says the first AM train will get the wrestlers in "by 7:32 am", which puts them far far behind, but maybe not out of the race. I predict they'll catch up somehow, or it'll be a non-elim leg.

Also, did anyone watch the videos from that same episode, or more specifically Phil's commentary?? It's just great! Go to http://www.cbs.com/primetime/amazing...6/index.shtml# and look for where it says "Video" at the top, and click on "Insider Player". The first one is about "get Phil's perspective" and it's awesome! He doesn't hide his opinions, you can tell who he likes and doesn't!

When he said

"I think I put 4 ounces back into it...I started SCREAMING "OH MY GOD!!!" in my living room.

He could become the worlds most famous model, a movie and TV star, and the richest man in the world...I still just saw him eat his puke.

BTW, I take umbrage with Kendras nickname...It sounded like she thought the POOR shouldnt 'breed', not because they were black...

So her name should be the Amazing Elitist...or Chickenlegs McGee

Great Episode!

Lori: We're gonna lose! We're not in first place!!!
Bolo: We're in first place! You are the biggest optomist I've ever seen in my life!
Lori: I'm sorry but that's the way I was raised

Freddy: My face hurts all over! It gets worse for you later in the day, fucker!

So, who did pull the gate back down? wtf happened?

The race was decided at that railcar task. Lame. I hate tasks where it's one at a time.

Also, why didn't they have a sign up board like they have in previous legs? it's way more organized and not "run into the box and grab a number."

The best part of the show was when Freddy was going to town on the soup and Kendra told him not to look on the floor near the table where the other racers were.

Glad to see the entertaining wrestlers still in the race. Those two are always good for a sound-bite or two an ep.

Jon is the luckiest bastard on the face of the Earth.

My wife may hunt down and kill TAPOSTNNBN before I get a chance to.

Aaron has a sense of humor, Hayden not so much.

At least Freddy admitted that he freaked out, and his prissy fiance wasn't so bad this ep.

Rebecca - you can do so, so, so much better.

I liked Gus/Hera - he was entertaining, as were her reactions to him.

I think the gate was thrown up so quickly that it came down pretty quickly. Gus was touching it, but I am pretty damn certain he wouldn't have hit his daughter and Freddy w/ the gate on purpose.

Hmm, it sounds interesting, but it requires realplayer, and I don't want that crap on my PC. I have some alternative codecs to play RP files, but they don't work in the browser.

Fun stuff. I'm glad Bolo & Lori made it. They sure looked tired at the end of that leg.

I tell you what, Kris and Jon are going to be hard to beat. They are consistantly in the top of the pack, and could have taken 4 of the 6 first place finishes but for a kind gesture and a Fast Foward. As it is they have finished 1st twice, 2nd three times, and once 4th.

Good episode, sorry to see Gus & Hera go, but why on earth would you choose to paddle across the river? Of course after seeing Jon & Kris go to the water polo pool and take out thier swimsuits I had this awful image of Gus in a speedo pop in my head.

I noticed in the voice over they said this was the first of two Fast Forwards so we have another to look for later.

I felt bad for the poor violiners who had to stay in the restaurant with the awful smell.

For the first detour, I figured that the water polo players would at least try and block the ball but they just halfheartedly seemed to defend the goal. Such an easy task.

Aside from hearing Freddy say that he ate his own vomit, good episode.

I wish Victoria would've barfed all over Jonathan. "You're such a drama queen." Pot, meet kettle. Even his attempts at sympathy seem condenscending. Telling a former nude model she loves to eat is not going to brighten her day.

Was the Hungarian water polo team even trying? At all? I barely saw them move. Still, I had to at Hellboy: "Distract them Rebecca!!!"

Am I wrong, or was it really just gravity forcing the gate back down that caused Freddy's boo-boo? It looked to me like one of those weighted gates that automatically drops back down if not raised high enough. I don't really think any person was actually to blame, but I was afraid we were about two seconds from seeing Bolo pound Freddy into the ground with one swift whack if he kept bitching.

It was sad seeing Gus and Hera get eliminated. They were one of my favorite teams, and it's always good to see a parent and child become closer on one of these shows. That being said, I'm still thrilled Gus didn't try to squeeze into a speedo. He downed that soup with no problem though

I was cackling like a hyena during the spicy soup from hell road block. Damn, that was some funny stuff, especially Freddy lapping up his vomit.

My love for Kris grows ever more.

I replayed the gate accident a few times and it's too hard to tell exactly what happened because the gate probably started falling during a wide shot. Then there was a closer shot from behind Freddy while the gate was already falling. I think Gus cleared the gate last just before it struck Hera, Kendra & Freddy. Obviously Gus wouldn't have pulled the gate down, so my conclusion is that it was an accident.

It was a good episode, but it wasn't as exciting as episodes past.

I, too, am sad to see Gus and Hera go but they provided the least drama. (Not grounds to be out of the show, but...y'know.) When I saw Veronica gag while eating the pig blood soup, I thought for sure her and Jonathon would come in last (much to the producer's chagrin).

But like another poster on here said, they provide a lot of drama.

I don't know what it is about Lori and Bolo, but I find them endearing in an "ordinary people" kind of way. They come off as bumbling at times, but they all do when you think about it. I think it's because they're wrestlers. Ha! I don't even like wrestling, but I root for these people every time.

I also like Aaron and Hayden, and Rebecca and Adam because they both remind me of the kinds of relationships I've had (not the Adam trying to get back together with Rebecca part, though).

Anyway, looking forward to next week's episode.

Good episode last night. Glad to see the producers were able to make us all think the wrestlers would be gone only to come in first.

I did the replay thing as well, and I think that guilty party was....GRAVITY! The racers just basically threw up the gate when they were running, and it came down on the last couple of people through, who were Hera and Freddy. Kendra and Gus just avoided it as well, like you said. I think that Freddy overreacted just a tad. He showed signs of Colin from last year, who looks like an angel now compared to Jonathan

When Jonathan of all people is telling you to "calm down" you know you've gone to far.

I can just see Freddy and Bolo at the pit stop:

Bolo: "Dude, you won't believe this...I had to drink BLOOD. Top that!"
Freddy: "Well..."

BTW, if you're looking for another reason to hate Jonathan, I heard that he and Victoria plan to donate 33% of the prize money to PETA if they win.

Another good episode last night. Gus and Hera got eliminated when they chose to paddle instead of water polo but I'm thankful that we avoided seeing Gus in a speedo.

After replaying the gate incident, from the angle it was shown, it was very hard to see how it came down and agree with people that posted that it might have been gravity. It was pretty funny to see Freddy's angry reaction and Jonathan trying to calm him down. That was just plain weird!

All I have to say is that Jon is a lucky bastard and Kris's comment in the train cart "Oh, is so vibraty", make me love her even more.

Favorite team: Kris and Jon followed by the wrestlers. The rest, I could care less about them.

My take is that only the goalie was going to move and try to stop the ball and the two players were more like obstacles for the racers to go by.

Let's not go and combine roadblock's with fast-forward's here, just splitting hairs. All I know is Freddy needs to shut the hell up about the gate incident, replaying it on slo-mo there is nothing it could be but gravity. Also funny how he tried blaming people that were not even near the gate but way ahead of him. Also nice is how STUPID Kendra was with that "look at the floor" comment. Gee that's really smart, someone is trying an eating contest and you tell them hey look at the puke over there on the floor, classic.

Poor Aaron(?), he was next to Victoria I recall, having to try and eat and you have a person puking next to you. He was doing perfectly fine and of course
you start here someone gagging next to you, when in Rome.

Also, amazing seeing Lori and Bolo going from worst to first like that.

Easiest. Roadblock. Ever. That water polo challenge was lame. Similiar in theory to past years' challenges of playing 2-person beach volleyball against a pro duo and a game of ping-pong against a kid who plays often. But much easier.

And thank goodness Gus didn't play. He could out the suit on, but he'd have a tough time finding it after.

The race was decided at that railcar task. Lame. I hate tasks where it's one at a time.
I'm not sure how you draw that conclusion. Sure, the FF chance was decided there, but get this ... something in this game was actually decided by a "race" for a change! As for everything else, it was decided by who could eat the soup the quickest combined with navigating to the pit stop, which apparently Hellboy and Great Ass struggled with since they seemed to lose time.

I wonder how long Gus really took eating the soup. I wish we had that information instead of the lame finale to every pit stop. It would be funny if he tore it up like it appeared, but it's probably just editing.

I officially can't stand Hayden. In other news, I'm officially in love with Kris.
