Huff is not happy when Melody returns in his sexual fantasies, and at the most inopportune times. Russell is coming out of his body cleansing and purification regime in time to take Laura, one of the partners in his law firm, out to dinner. Did I totally zone out or was this cut from the episode? I saw her run to the Shell, but then I swear it switched to another scene after that.

Can't say I liked this episode. Beth would've pissed me off too. Every time they showed her she was either agitated or pulling away, and then she says she's not getting attention. Then for the topper she says, "leave me alone."
Byrd's plot was after school special material. They should've just left him out of it, or given him a funny subplot instead because this episode was way too heavy, which is the show's biggest problem in the first place. Even Russell couldn't be a humorous distraction this time. The last few episodes before this were great, but this one was every complaint I've heard about the show encapsulated into one episode.
Did they not call the cops after Melody tried to murder Beth? How the hell could she leave a rose at their front door after that? I'm assuming this was only a few days after it happened. That nutjob shouldn't be that hard for the cops to track down. He has her address! The only thing worse than that cavernous plot hole was the ending. What the Hell was that?
And I don't mean the scene between Huff and Teddy.

I was really digging this series until that scene with Russel and Izzy? What the heck?!?!? If the writer's are already going into ridiculous story lines it doesn't bode well for the future.
