I don't subscribe to any premium channels, so my only hope of seeing this is on DVD. Will the cancellation affect the release of season two?
I doubt it. Since MGM seems to still want to find a home for the show, it looks like they're still committed to it, and that includes DVD releases of it.

It would be kind of weird to see this show move. I don't think it has a chance at ending up on HBO and that's the only place where they wouldn't have to at least severely tone down the language. FX is about the only station I could see it moving to.

ugh, do we really need to replace this with TWO cop shows? They've already got thier lame ass shrink drama. What's next? Lemme guess, a show about Doctors set in a hospital!

If I want to not watch these kinds of shows, I can not watch 'em on the broadcast networks for free.

DLM was a well-written/acted breath of fresh air that I actually enjoyed more than my favorite HBO series'.

bye bye Showtime. hello extra $11 a month!

I hope DLM doesn't wind up on a channel were it gets neutered.

The show would lose a little by having to be toned down. But toned down Dead is better than no Dead! Let's hope this happens.

You could regret saying that...

I don't know about that. Dead Like Me was already a TV-14 show when it was on Showtime. All that really needs to be changed is Mason's reliance on using the word "fuck" all the time.

Not a big loss if you ask me.

MGM is still shopping the show around to find someone to pick it up.
