Speaking of the first 5 minutes, my DVR didn't get the beginning of this episode (which is odd because it usual starts late). Was it explained what happened to the Banana Stand? Recording started when Michael and GOB were discussing GOB's suit.

It's a yearly holiday tradition for all of the local youth to dump it into the bay...leading to the yearly tradition of Michael and GM rebuilding it. :)

I just finished getting this episode, and watching it once again. I do this every week, I watch that weeks episode over and over through the week. I've never done that for any other TV show before.

Last week the MPAA put the lock down on a lot of Torrent sites. Suprnova was one of the targets. They get the typical letter and then that weekend they closed the door.

You can't spell Conspiracy without Piracy.

Tvtorrents.net is gone, too. And they only had tv shows, no movies.

This show is one of the few what can keep a joke running all season.

Hey, did you guys catch when George Michael and Lindsay are leaving the office party (while Michael and Maeby sing), George Michael somehow forgets he brought Ann/Yam/Egg. There's a quick shot of Ann catching up to him as he leaves the room.

I love those little details.

I know that it's a yearly tradition to throw the banana stand into the bay but I wonder if there's something more to it this time; there's seems to be grafitti that reads "I get you Bluth" on the outside of the stand. Anyway, we'll find out.

does tobias think he's black?

it was referenced in one of the 'ice' episodes, when he was telling linsday about how similar the two of them are.. then again in this episode - talking about how tobias sounds like a big black guy.. tobias says something along the lines of 'well, i'm certainly not *big*', and makes no mention of the 'black' part..

anyone else catching this?

I caught that last night when I watched the ep again :lol: AD is the most rewatchable show on TV!

I think it's just a joke, since it's obvious he's not black that he chooses to say "big" which is almost secondary to being black

I also noticed that Egg/Yam/Ann's family showed up for the second party. Something tells me there will be some deleted scenes involving them there.

Yay! I finally watched the episode last night! :banana:

I loved this episode. Rolling on the floor at the end with the crane bit.

This show is the greatest of all time in terms of setting up a joke with a big payoff.

:lol: at the brownie line, the thick arms line, the sound of tobias getting run over, the karaoke afternoon delight gag, yam, creepy, bethlehem time, the crumb-like rendition of the turtle, the map gag, the walking sticks, dropping GOB from a great height... it goes on and on.

I wouldn't put it over on the writers to reveal that tobias is a black man.
