The look on Michael and Maebe's faces when they got to the chorus of the song was priceless.

The "in the Kitty" and brownie lines were great

Show's how much I listen to lyrics and actually take in the meaning....that was too damn funny. I'll have to watch this episode a few times more.

Gonna find my baby, gonna hold her tight
gonna grab some afternoon delight.
My motto's always been; when it's right, it's right.
Why wait until the middle of a cold dark night.
When everything's a little clearer in the light of day.
And you know the night is always gonna be there any way.

Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. Afternoon delight.

Thinkin' of you's workin' up my appetite
looking forward to a little afternoon delight.
Rubbin' sticks and stones together makes the sparks ingite
and the thought of rubbin' you is getting so exciting.

Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. Afternoon delight.

Started out this morning feeling so polite
I always though a fish could not be caught who wouldn't bite
But you've got some bait a waitin' and I think I might try nibbling
a little afternoon delight.

Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. Afternoon delight.

Please be waiting for me baby when I come around.
We could make a lot of lovin' 'for the sun goes down.

Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. Afternoon delight.

Is it safe to assume everybody has changed their ringtones yet again this week?

Man, I guess I'll be the lone dissenting voice and say that I didn't think this episode was as funny as the more recent ones. Granted, even an average episode of Arrested Development is better than most other comedies on TV, but I really only loved Gob's suit comments (which had a really lame punchline at the end) and Lucille's "colored man" line.

COME ON!

I just discovered this show the last month after reading about it here. I love the subtle jokes as much as the blatant ones, but the 2 biggest crack ups for me have to be the coffin tick gone awry a couple of weeks ago and Buster dropping Gob from about the crane at about 100 feet. I swear I watched these scenes 50 times. Watching that banana drop just brought tears to my eyes.

The candy canes on the suit were great too.

Michael, they're laughing with me!

Gob and Tobias totally crack me up.

Great episode, as always.

No mention of Ann (Yam) and her amazing singing ability: "The word George Michael was searching for was 'creepy.'"

Also, I wanted to see where GOB landed.

That was my favorite part. All the Jesus songs.

As someone who has been in a situation like that, I found it especially hilarious.

I sorta agree with Breakfast with Girls comment about this not being the best episode - At least, the first half seemed strained to me. But, once it kicked in, I was falling out of my chair (as usual with this show). The conversation with Michael and Oscar was brilliant (and the snail going "wheee" was great)!! Love this show! COME ON!!

I agree. I didn't find this particularly great. It was funny, but not as good as the season's previous episodes.

I loved how Michael walked in at the end of one of Gob's suit-rants and then later there was a brief flashback that played the first part of the rant and cut off the bit we had already seen.

Last nights episode was directed by Jason Batemen. So perhaps that is why it wasn't as quick with cuts or something. It was his first time directing.

Well, first time directing for Arrested Development. He's been directing for television since he was a teenager. This is obviously a lot different than the other shows he's worked on.

LOL I was just going to post concerning this. I was rewatching with subtitles and noticed as Michael and Maeby were coming around the corner, Gob was talking to the guy helping him with the liquor. As the scene cust to Gob in mid-sentence, I cracked up at the subtitling. "....king 63 hundred dollar suit! Come on!"
The guys at editing must have a blast coming up with those hilarious cuts.

I loved the sexual harrassment speech by Gob.

Lindsey and George Michael signing Afternoon Delight and how she and Tobias have an open relationship.

The first 5 min or so weren't up to AD standards but the rest of the show was pure gold.
