The one comment that prepared me for it was the fact that he was Seth Aaron MK II..

I wanted Mondo to win, but I'm not too upset Gretchen did.

What. A. Farce.

They hated Gretchen's collection in the finale part 1. Add some ugly ass lipstick and different ugly shoes and now she's a winner? What a crock. of . poop.

Yuck. I hated Gretchen all season. Interesting how it seemed like many of the cast had turned on her after watching her confessionals. Noticed also they didn't gave that bitch Ivy any screen time.

Here is a link to Tim Gunn at a fashon show answeing questions about the show. He says that Nina and Michael Kores must have been smoking crack to pick Gretchens collection, and how Michael C was treated at the end.

The Fashion Show: Season 2(Bravo's Project Runway)

I just noticed that Bravo started up Season 2 of The Fashion Show. It airs on Tuesday at 10. I missed the first episode from last night so I'll have to catch one of the many replays before next week. Iman is hosting the show this season. This will fill the void until the next Project Runway season comes around.

WARNING-this link will show you who got eliminated in the first episode-

I finally watched it this weekend. It's an okay show and looks like it will be better than last season.

Iman just sounds ridiculous with those one-liners. I crack up every time I see the promo where she yells "This is a fashion emergency, we need an evacuation!"

What time? And I know its no longer at Bravo, but I can't recall the network's name.

Lifetime 9PM/8PM

I was reading last week's EW, and it saw fit to remind me that Gretchen won. My reaction was "Gretchen won?". I think I had blocked it out.

Thanks for making the thread, BDB. I would have forgotten that the new season is starting. :)

Yeah, I would rather forget about Gretchen.

Excellent Start..

Impressed with the Miss Universe, the judges were very sceptical about her

Agreed. I like Anya....glad they kept her. She's quite talented.

Rafael deserved to get the boot. Horrible design.

I was very surprised they took her and kept a more deserving person out. It smacked of a publicity stunt. But she came through on that first challenge. Either she's lying about her ability or she's really a fast learner. I already have ones that I can't stand and ones that I'm rooting for.

I hated the Halston guy's model. Thought she looked like a skanky hooker.

And just my opinion but, I liked Christina Ricci better when she was a little chunky. She's too skinny now.

Re: Project Runway - Season 9 - July 28

And I knew I recognised something about her - Anya, she's the one who has a sex tape out there..

So wonder how long she'll stay around.

Anya Ayoung Chee is a former Miss Universe contestant (she represented Trinidad and Tobago) who found herself in an International scandal when video of her having sex with her boyfriend (pictured above) and Miss Japan, reportedly, surfaced. (Miss Japan denied it and it’s now believed it wasn’t her, You know what they say about Asians)

Totally agree about Ricci, she looks odd skinny

Last nights, I preferred the bird seed dress over olivier's, which while good, I was put off by the top a little.

Certainly glad other Josh got the boot, the puppies on her boobs from the umbrellas, what was he thinking!

Bert got himself a pretty stern warning..

movie diva 08-05-11 12:30 PM

Re: Project Runway - Season 9 - July 28

I liked the birdseed dress too, the collar was so cool, I was rooting for Bert in the beginning, but last night he did not even try to do the challenge.

joefrog91 08-05-11 01:48 PM

Re: Project Runway - Season 9 - July 28

I guess I'm the only one that thought gluing items on a dress was lacking. Several designers did it. I understand using the base was allowed, but this is not just a design competition, it's a sewing compettiion as well. I did like the finished birdseed dress though.

I believe if anyone else had made Olivier's dress, the judges would have hated it. I don't understand why they didn't call it boring. The top was awful looking to me.

I will never understand what the judges see in some of the finished dresses. I thought the reddish-orange dress was good. The designer should have defended it.

Just my two cents.

Re: Project Runway - Season 9 - July 28

oh and the blue dress should have lost for sure!
