And that pic cuts off the shoes, which just add to the ridiculousness.

I just read she's a former Playmate of the Month! I never would've guessed, not that she's not cute, but just based on her personality on the show.

yeah, I saw that when I followed the other link. It's funny, the wedding dresses seem more similar, but this one seems more like it was copied. I could see how the wedding dresses were designed independently, but this one seems totally ripped off, in a "I'll make mine different enough" way.

Am I the only one who things Kortu was robbed? I like Leanne ok, but I thought Kortu's line looked so much better on the runway. Leanne picked these super-anorexic models and the clothes didn't seem to fit very well or something.

Didn't Jerrell also show at Fashion Week? Any links to what he came up with?

I thought it too! Korto never got enough credit IMO all season. Her use of color on the runway was amazing. Her line was cohesive but individual enough to show different pieces. LeAnnes, while I thought was really good, especially the use of the wave skirt, seemed to be the same pieces, different tops, etc... all through her line. It is a different look though, and it isnt like she is undeserving.

Wow, Kenleys ripoff pieces are blatant!

But, if you remove the coloring in Kortos line it would be very bland and boring. I thought Leanne's line was much better.

Let's remove the coloring in Leanne's line too before we go making any big decisions.

Relieved that Leanne won. By the end of the season, she was the only won I could tolerate.

And thanks for the links, Richard! Not sure what show policy is, but Kenley should have gotten the boot for plagiarizing those designs (and for being a world class bitch). Pretty egregious, really.

Re: "Project Runway" Moving to Lifetime Network

They announced the cast for the new season on mylifetime.com

A kid (well we're all mid-20s now so I guess kid doesn't work) in my graduating class (high school) is on there, I gotta admit, I laughed when I heard about it -- there couldn't be a more appropriate match (personality-wise) in that graduating class than him being on this show.

Best of luck to him.

Re: "Project Runway" Moving to Lifetime Network

Lifetime to air 'Project Runway' All-Star Challenge

Kicking off its sixth season, Project Runway will welcome back eight superstar designers from years past, including Santino Rice, Jeffrey Sebelia and Sweet P, for a special two-hour "All-Star Challenge." Prior to Lifetime's Project Runway season premiere and the series premiere of Models of the Runway on Aug. 20, the Runway alums will match wits and fashions to compete for a $100,000 cash prize. Lifetime's entire release, after the jump.

Unprecedented Special Event to Air at 8:00PM ET/PT and Feature Designers from Previous Seasons

Special to be Followed by the Season Six Premiere of PROJECT RUNWAY at 10PM ET/PT
and the Debut of the All-New Companion Series MODELS OF THE RUNWAY at 11PM ET/PT

LOS ANGELES, CA (July 22, 2009) – For the first time in Project Runway history, eight former fan favorites and Project Runway superstars are returning to the catwalk to compete against one another in the two-hour special, Project Runway: All-Star Challenge. The spirited competition premieres Thursday, August 20, at 8PM ET/PT and will be followed by the highly anticipated premiere of the sixth season of Project Runway at 10PM ET/PT and the debut of the all-new companion series, Models of the Runway, at 11PM ET/PT. The announcement was made today by Lifetime Television and The Weinstein Company.

At stake for the designers are not only the ultimate bragging rights, but also a $100,000 cash prize. Will the designers be up to the challenge of returning to the workroom, working under the “Gunn” (as in Tim Gunn) to create a successful fashion line? Are they ready to, once again, face the critiques of Heidi Klum, Michael Kors and Nina Garcia, as they showcase their creations?

The designers competing in Project Runway: All-Star Challenge are as follows:
Daniel Vosovic, Season 2
Santino Rice, Season 2
Jeffrey Sebelia, Season 3
Uli Herzner, Season 3
Mychael Knight, Season 3
Chris March, Season 4
Sweet P, Season 4
Korto Momolu, Season 5

ABOUT PROJECT RUNWAY AND MODELS OF THE RUNWAY
Hosted by supermodel and fashion maven Heidi Klum, the hit series Project Runway provides budding designers with an opportunity to launch their careers in fashion, under the watchful eye of mentor and Liz Claiborne Chief Creative Officer Tim Gunn. The wildly successful competition reality series has proven to be one of television’s most talked about shows and was the highest rated unscripted competition on all of cable for 2008.

Models of the Runway, an exciting new companion series to Project Runway, will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the reality competition – from the models’ perspective. Viewers can experience the drama, anxiety, joys, tears and frustrations as the models themselves face elimination each week and compete for a cash prize and photo spread in Marie Claire magazine.

Re: "Project Runway" Moving to Lifetime Network

I think Korto (sp?) should have won the Allstars competition.

Great season premiere. Right choice to seed that zany chick packin'.

She couldn't even sketch. You quickly realize how much better the PR contestants are compared to those that competed on The Fashion Show.

Re: "Project Runway" Moving to Lifetime Network

I was positive Sandra Bullock was going to be the special guest after they essentially showed her entire movie during the commercial. Was it me or did the commercial breaks seem overly long?

Sucks that I can't see this in HD. Looked better on Bravo.

That Models of the Runway show is pretty pointless, huh?

I just switched to U-verse and they do have Lifetime in HD.

I also thought that Bullock was going to be the guest judge. I'm also already tired of that big crybaby, Johnny the druggie.
