Just wait - the more popular TAR gets, they will start doing the same. |

Plus having yet another bland white male win this thing was kind of predictable and boring. Too bad most of the female contestants were shrill bitches this year. |
I think Kelly was the right choice based on overall perfromance throughout the season.
I thought the extent that they went to to humiliate Jen was too much and would have been much more deserved by Omarosa last time. Now that would have been fun. |

I think it would've been more predictable to have a black woman win it in today's world. |

But I must disagree with you about Kelly, I didn't think he was boring....wait that was Kelly in my dream last night. That's an entirely different thread. Everything about last night's finale was just weird, that COO clamming up. I mean he couldn't even get out an "I think Kelly is just better." He needs to be fired. |

No. Now maybe if it is Weight-Gainer 2000...... |
Agreed. The funny thing is that, based on her strong closing performance, she'll probably get some real job offers, while Kelly gets locked into a babysitting job for the next year. Trump undoubtedly had picked Kelly, but I guarantee that Trump was rethinking his pick when Jen started defending herself. "Kelly, this is bad." She just owned that conversation. |
I felt bad for Jen during the show. Then I remembered that she is gonna end up making no less than six figures for the rest of her life and figured I should turn in and go to sleep. There are no real "losers" on this show.
I like the show, but I really hope they up the ante on the challenges next go round. Some of the shit they did this year was below 16 year olds. Washing dogs? Selling candybars? Ice cream? C'mon now. |
I cracked up during the boardroom when Jen was trying to say metaphor and she pronounced it "metamaphor".

No surprise here, a rather boring finale as confirmed by most people:
http://tv.zap2it.com/tveditorial/tve...427|1|,00.html 'Apprentice' Finale Ratings Take a Dive LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) The finale for the second season of NBC's "The Apprentice" drew an average of nearly 17 million viewers across its three-hour running time on Thursday (Dec. 16) night. While NBC is trying to put a happy face on those figures, the network will try to ignore the dramatic drop from the show's first season... The finale was down 43 percent among adults 18-49 from the 13.6 rating done by the first season finale last May. The first season finale, crowning Bill Rancic, attracted 28 million viewers for a hefty 39 percent fall. The finale saw only a slight improvement over the show's seasonal average of 15.3 million viewers and failed to left NBC over rerun fueled CBS for the overall ratings and viewership crown for the night. Last season, "The Apprentice" averaged 20.7 million viewers per week in its spring run... |

I imagine this thing was streched out more than Trump's comb-over.. |

Has anyone read the most recent EW? Apparently Kevin wasn't hired because the Apprentice is racist. |

Having said all that though, I agree with John comment that she was being "thrown under a bus". It wasn't fair, was completely unnecessary and I felt bad for her as a result. |

Kelly, you're Fired![/Donald] Yep, completely agree. Also about her "speech" at the end. Any good lawyer is a good speech-giver, so I wasn't impressed. |
PLUS...Jen has NO IDEA how to read Trump...she kept pumping her Harvard/Yale background going against a West Point and Ranger school grad.
Umm...Jen, Trump went to military boarding school and creamed his pants all season when talking about Kellys background. |
I did not need that visual...

I mentioned my confusion over this 'risky' move after last episode along with her risky decisions to go to Princeton undergrad and Harvard for law school. In a word: WHAT!!?? |
[QUOTE=Decker]The Donald didn't know, but now he's seen the show and that move was really unethical and perhaps gave us a glimpse of how Jen has been able to acheive so much (like her "risky" move across the country to work for the largest law firm in the USA. That's what I was thinking. Perhaps she hitchhiked? :) |
now someone correct me, did I hear from Regis that 'The Apprentice 3' has already filmed.
