"Nip / Tuck" question

Hi

I have just watched the first episode of "Nip / Tuck" .

I donīt speak very well english so can anyone tell me

what exactly means the expression Nip and Tuck ?

Nip means 'cut' and Tuck can mean 'fold into' or 'tighten' in this context.

It refers to plastic surgery. When people get face lifts or other plastic surgery it is often referred to going in for a nip and a tuck.
