Another great episode. Poor Susan, she just has the worst luck.

I'm thinking that Zach didn't actually physically kill Dana but may have contributed to it in some way. He said he was 4 and his parents had to clean up a lot of blood. That doesn't really sound like the work of a 4 year old. But where is Dana's body?

I knew the cops were there for Carlos -- Gabrielle just continues to have that kind of "lucky" timing.

I'm getting a little tired of Bree and her tactics to give her son some morals.

I think the same thing has happened to Alias. After the SD-6 storyline was resolved it just wasn't as good anymore. Now it's on Wednesday. I feel cancelation coming on.

how would the kid kill dana if he was in the other room? that's what it sounded like from his story.

now, i'm sure the bones are the woman who Mike is looking for. was she a nanny?

Another great episode. I agree that it's obvious that the body in the chest is somehow related to what Mike is investigating. And while I agree that it's strange that he wasn't in this episode, he hasn't really been one of the main characters and has only seemed to have an important part in about every other episode.

Who is Tanaka? Has he been mentioned before? I assume he is a business partner/associate (athough wasn't that the name of the guy in Die Hard?). At first I thought the police were coming for Gabbi, but when I realized it was the Feds, then I knew it was Carlos.

As for Zack, I feel that he was probably brainwashed into thinking it was his fault..... he said that he'd forgotten about it until his mother had died. There was probably some accident that he feels was his fault or that he could have prevented. I wonder how long it will be before Ms. Hubber's body is found..... the dad doesn't seem very good at hiding bodies (he dumped the chest in the lake and it turned up..... should have left it burried under the pool).

I think Tanaka was the guy who was always grabbing Gabrielle's ass at the parties.

Are we sure a baby was killed? Didn't Zack only claim to remember blood and the baby's name? What if there wasn't a baby? Now I may be remembering incorrectly, but I ask because if a baby did get killed, where is the body? If the chest was indeed ordered for a baby and a woman's body was found in it, what happened to the dead baby?

Also, I have a problem with the timeline if the dead body is related to both Mike's investigation and the Dana/Zack storyline. Based on Zack's memory, whatever happened with Dana took place at least ten years ago. I never got the impression that what happened to the missing sister took place that long ago, but I don't really know. Are my musings that far off base? Is it possible that the sister went missing over ten years ago?

Susan has shitty luck.

Rex/Bree need to beat the piss out of their spoiled brat of a son - or let someone else do it.

Paul needs to realize that he needs to dig a deeper hole if he is going to bury a corpse.

Lynette is funny as all get out.

If you have Tivo, can't you do something like a "Find all episodes" for this show?

Well, I was far from the biggest fan of Alias' third season, however, i'm sure the show moved to Wednesday for a couple of reasons:
  • J.J. Abrams is responsible for both..
  • To leech off of Lost's high ratings..
  • Besides J.J., Lost is a better lead-in for Alias and inspires a similar sort of fanaticism..
  • Even ABC wouldn't be stupid enough to move a show that's getting fantastic ratings in place of a show that has always underachieved. Would they?

Hmmm - just read in the Wash Post that the DC airing of DH (which wasn't aired until late late Sun night because the ABC affiliate showed the Redskins game) omitted 4 1/2 minutes of the episodes. No wonder I didn't recall some of the things mentioned in this thread. And here I thought it was because of the wine I had going out to dinner last night before I watched my recording of DH.

Not at all -- Zach remembers his parents shouting his name and Dana's name, he remembers his parents cleaning up blood, and he remembers being told it wasn't his fault. We still don't know whether he killed Dana. Nor, for that matter, do we know that Dana was a child -- maybe Dana is the body in the box!

Marcia Cross, Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, and also Nicolette Sheridan earned the 2005 Golden Globe nominations for their performance in "Desperate Housewives", and the show was nominated for Best TV Series-Musical or Comedy. Looks like there will be more Emmy nominations in the fall.

Seems to me that Zach could be the one that killed the woman Mike is looking for, which his parents covered up. Then they sent Dana away (adoption maybe) to protect her from Zach's blackout violence.

We have been lead to believe many times that Dana was a baby. Mrs Hubber mentioned it before Paul killed her, and I think Zack mentioned a sister during his confession. Could it be that the adult body in the trunk and dana have nothing to do with eachother? (someone refresh my memory.... did the trunk say Dana on it?) Perhaps Paul (or Mary Alice) killed the woman and when they recieved the note, paul decided to just dump all of the bodies/evidence he had laying around the house. I have a feeling that the identity of the adult body will be revieled long before we know what happened to Dana.

Maybe WAY off base here, but what if the adult in the box was pregnant with a baby to be named Dana. "..a shame what happened to the baby..." Husband had an affair. Gal found out she was pregnant with a girl, picked out the name Dana, made a blankey. Confronted the father. Zach freaks out while they argue downstairs. Kills her. Only feels remorse for his unborn half-sister...

Then a polar bear comes out on the Island..and....
