I have gained new respect for Victoria this time around, she could speak french enough to get by, and I think that's cool.

Lots of teams pulling the hey its more money than you make in a year crap.

And hoo boy was Kris hot and Jon knows it.

Don's comment about being the oldest team to make it this far was lame. That's all we ever hear out of his mouth "old, old, old".

When you finish higher than these teams, then you might have some bragging rights.

8th - Season 5
8th - Season 1
2nd - Season 3
....not to mention physically weaker teams like the bowling moms.

Don and MJ are currently 8th. I think they have a god 10-15 years on terry and ian.

69 and 66 MJ is 5 years older than Bob

That foulness was completely unnecessary...it was bad enough the first time.

Certainly can't wait to see next week and how Don/MJ find some money. Don's begging didn't work at all the last time he tried it.

Good episode last night. I was pulling for Kris and Jon from the second episode on because they seem like the only decent team in the race, but they are unstoppable. I have to agree with Jon's comment about Kris, she was awesome on the salt task and she looked hot doing it.

Adam needs his manhood revoked. What whiny little brat.

I loved Rebecca's comment
"I don't have time to babysit my girlfriend"
and then Adam
"You just want me to jump off this boat right now?"
Rebecca
"that would be GREAT"

Manipulative little whiny wimpy crybaby GIRLY BOY. He tried that "just want me to jump in front of this train?" crap on another episode.

Boy his momma sure raised him to be a totally dependent FREAK for the rest of his life

NOthing personal against the old folks, but I wish this was an elimination leg so that we could separate the wheat from the chaff and get on with the race.

I bet Hellbaby's parents are so proud of themselves for raising such a wuss for all of America to see.

The only way he thinks he can gain an upper hand in stressful situations is to make the other person think he'll hurt himself if they don't capitulate. What a frikkin' loser!

I wonder what Rebecca ever saw in Adam other than a sweet little boy? I mean, she's a cute girl with a great personality. It's a very odd pairing that seems doomed.

Doesn't the show call them "formerly dating"?
During episode one I remember thinking that Adam came to a realization about himself, and that is why they are just friends now.

At 9 p.m., CBS held onto first with the 7.5/11 for the latest installment of "The Amazing Race." ABC stayed second with comedies "According to Jim" (7.2/11) and "Rodney" (6.4/10), which bested the end of NBC's "Biggest Loser" and a new episode of "Scrubs." On FOX, "House" rebounded somewhat from its lead-in with a 4.5/7, improving dramatically in its second half. The WB stayed fifth with the 2.3/3 premiere of "High School Reunion." UPN's "Veronica Mars" repeat was sixth.

Isn't it great how The Amazing Race is the 'little engine that could'? When the show first started in 2001, it couldn't buy an audience and was always close to cancellation. Now it's finishing 1st in its timeslot.

For once, a network did the right thing and stayed with a program that was a good show and had a loyal following.

I hope Jonathan and Victoria win now-- he mentioned he wants kids and they are going to need a ton of money for the poor kid's therapy bills someday.

Amazing Race has to be the most quotable of all reality shows...

"I don't have time to babysit my girl friend!"
"My implants are frozen!"
"My ox is broken!"

Oh geez. The kid will have blue hair and scream "woohoo" all the time.

The old folks are as good as gone. I don't know how they'll scrounge up some money in Senegal unless they run across some foreigners on vacation. It was really sweet to see Don crying about how much he loved MJ though. And the clapping when she was finished was also a nice touch.

I could have sworn but don't remember if some of the people watching were laughing at Adam as he was doing the task.

This was a pretty funny episode.
A few of my favorite parts:

Don puking and his wife saying "Each time he puked, I caught fish."
When Victoria was saying "Vite, vite", and Jonathan thought she said "beep, beep" and she corrected him...lol.
As was mentioned before Adam saying "You want me to jump of this boat?", oh man, how lame is he..at least do it if you're really gonna cry like that.
The old lady pulling all that salt...I think she would have beaten Adam as well.

I don't think is stamina that he lacked. Come on! is not that he's out of shape, is that he lacked the determination (a more polite word) that for example Kris, Hayden, Lori and even MJ demostrated. Also none of the other contestants complained about the task as much as he did.

I am pretty sure that MJ took a long time to do the salt harvest task. I think they are at least 2 hours behind Gus/Hera but they can beg during the rest and mingle portion hopefully to get some money otherwise they are finished. I am rooting for them but they make real dumb decisions i.e fishing over stacking.

I also like Kris/Jon but they also made a couple of mistakes which didn't hurt them but could be fatal next time i.e. asking someone and not checking the opening time of the townhall and more disturbing, jumping into a cab and asking the cab driver to drive to a cemetry without really knowing which one.
