The Librarian: Quest For the Spear (Anybody watching it?)
A nerdish bookworm is called upon to save the world after a powerful holy relic falls into the wrong hands in the TNT Original THE LIBRARIAN: QUEST FOR THE SPEAR, a thrilling adventure-drama starring Noah Wyle (ER, TNT's Pirates of Silicon Valley) and set to premiere Sunday, Dec. 5, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT). Kyle MacLachlan (Sex and the City, Twin Peaks), Sonya Walger (Coupling, The Mind of the Married Man), Jane Curtin (Our Town, 3rd Rock from the Sun), Kelly Hu (X2, The Scorpion King), David Dayan Fisher (Jerry Bruckheimer's National Treasure) co-star with Oscar® winner Olympia Dukakis (Moonstruck, Steel Magnolias) and Bob Newhart (Elf, The Bob Newhart Show). Peter Winther (The Tag) directs the cliffhanger written by David Titcher (Around the World in 80 Days).
On TNT tonight. Seems to some sort of Indiana Jones type movie. Anyone watching it?

I watched it and found it quite enjoyable. Ok it was a little cheesy but overall it was entertaining. I must add though that it did star one of my personal heros, Bob Newhart. It was great seeing him on the screen again lending the humor that only he could pull off. If they do end up making more, I can only hope he will be involved.

Saw it. I actually liked it since it had the Indiana Jones-smartass feel to it. A lot of the CGI scenes looked really cheap (the bridge across the waterfall valley comes to mind) but then again, it's not like it was a one of those summer blockbusters.

I liked it quite a bit. Great leads, and the action was fun. Not Indiana Jones level of course, but much better than most made for TV flicks of this nature. I hope TNT makes more of them.

It was cool albeit for a couple of lazy shots. Most obvious of course is when they jumped from the cliff. The next shot--which I guess should have been their impact on the water--clearly showed them jumping from the riverbank.

It had promise, but the only things I really enjoyed were the scenes involving Bob Newhart.
