Last I heard it was Jan 5, with a 2-hour episode.

I'd like to start watching this show this season, but I'm afraid I'll be lost never having seen an episode. Can anyone recommend a site that provides a good synopsis of the previous seasons and characters? How many seasons have there been anyway?

If you are that interested johnglass, you should pick up the dvd box sets. Great picture quality and no commercials. Try the first season for XMAS and see what you think.

no, it's a back to back J.J. night. Lost and Alias. It will be a strong night for ABC. They sure are coming back from years of being in the shitter.

I wonder how long this show will last. First 2 seasons were good, then it got weird in Season 3

johnglass, if you don't want to have to watch 3 seasons' worth of the series in a month, you could head over to Television Without Pity and read...3 seasons' worth of recaps. It's really no substitute for watching the show, though. Hmm...I say Netflix the DVDs.

Thanks. I may just Tivo the upcoming season to give me time to rent the previous ones and watch them, otherwise I'll try the Television w/o pity site.

Reading synopsis' of ALIAS without being able to watch Jennifer Garner kick ass in skinight outfits and multiple hairstyle changes is like having someone EXPLAIN filet mignon and lobster tail to you.

Hey, i know this is going to be on the same night as LOST, so i was wondering is it to late to try to tune into Alias if I have only seen like 2 episodes? Or will I not get anything thats going on? I wanna give it a try.

Hubcap -

Definitely watch it - just realize that you will be missing out on quite a bit of backstory. The show is even better suited to be watched on DVD, so get a hold of the first three seasons and catch up. It actually gets quite addicting...

I get the feeling that they're going to try and make this as new-viewer-friendly as possible, since a) the show's ratings are not great, and b) to take full advantage of the post-Lost timeslot, so yeah, I think you should watch it.
