Dumb question, and I missed the show, but what does "vegan" mean??

vegans don't eat any meat or anything that comes from a living creature (milk).

I'm a level 10 vegan..... I don't eat anything that casts a shadow
(that line kept running through my head while watching that episode)

I did love the part when the cajun mom asked the vegans about why they kill spiders if they loved all animals

As a longtime vegetarian who is *mostly* vegan, watching this episode made me shudder. I now know how black people must have felt all these years watching TV stereotypes. There are so many people in this country who have never heard of vegans, much less know one, and now this is the impression they will have.

I didn't even think she was that bad in the first episode, but in the second episode she pretty much Out-Omarosed herself as most hated reality TV contestant ever. I have never seen unspoken hatred from the editors who took every opportunity to make her look bad. Not that it was hard, given the wealth of material she gave them to work with. Egads.

I think I'll go retreat to the jungle to go play with some vegetarian lions and monkies.
