What in the hell is the world comin’ to? If they ditch the original cast, this might actually be a decent show. -eek-

I still can’t get over angry Vulcans. It just ain’t right.

And I’m getting fed up with the spoiler teasers.

I’m getting fed up with the spoiler teasers.

It's obvious counterbalance. We'll make the show stop sucking, buuuuut ... we'll ruin it for you before the 2nd commerical break. Law of Conservation of Quality or something.

Before one may conserve quality...aw, crap, forget it.

And I'm trying to get my head around Bando actually watching this show. He's not one of the four horsemen, is he? The one on the pale horse?

Bandoman 11-29-04 03:52 PM

I'm back on board, baby! I've been a Trekkie almost my whole life, and I'm really glad this show isn't sucking anymore. I can only hope they can keep it up.

[I'm the one on the black horse, with the sickle. I'm waving - can you see me?]

I've noticed the diminished capacity of Hoshi and Merriweather too. I guess Coto finally realized they weren't very interesting.

I am too enjoying this turn, although I didn't think the show was all that bad in the past.

Next week looks to have alot of space battle goodness. Can't wait for that.

Wow, it's shocking to see the mood in the Enterprise thread so positive. There were times when there weren't any positive posts.

Damfino 11-29-04 06:08 PM

I finally watched it. I fell behind my TV watching due to the Holiday.

Another good episode and I'm looking forward to seeing Andoria next week (IIRC this will be Trek's first visit to their home world).

I still consider this cast to be the worst in Trek history, but they have risen to the occasion thanks to improved writing.

From now on, I'm going to record the show every week so that I can skip the Teaser/spoilers.

there is a discussion about this on the Enterprise board at startrek.com and I think the whole episode is anti-bush.
Well, good for them. Maybe the writers do have some smarts.

I enjoyed the episode too. Now if they can keep it up, I will be happy.
Also read today that they finally signed Shatner for a 3 part arc.

So much for the shows turnaround.

You know what it is? Shatner didn't want to be on it when it was a turd but now that it's come around he needs to stink it up again.

The Shatner appearance seems like a bad idea, but they made Brent Spiner's appearance work so why not?

Great, now Archer is going to be some kinda of Vulcan God? Doesn't this remind you of DS9 with Sisko....... -ohbfrank-
Ha, I was thinking the same thing as I watched it unfold. First, it was agent Daniels that chose to only communicate with Archer during the Temporal Cold War arc. Now, are we to assume that Vulcans will follow the true path of Sarak with Archer's guidance?

I finally watched this episode over the weekend and I had to find this thread (which wasn't easy) to see if anyone else laughed at that line.

"We ain't found shit."
