Okay my bad about not knowing whether Ami was a lesbian or not. Hopefully Chris can last a bit longer.

OMG! Best Tribal Counsil ever!

OMG!

When that Tribal cousil ended, I was jumping in the air, clapping my hands, because that was Incredible, I have watch Season 1,2,3,7, 8 and this was the best Tribal Counsil ever, even competes against Rupert stealing Shoes as best survivor moment !

I think it is safe to say that:Chris, Aliza, Scout and Twila will be in the Final 4.

I hope your right, but nothing is safe to say in this game.

great episode

Just finished watching this and I wasn't sure if this was one of the best Tribal Councils ever, since I have only seen this season and last.

But all of you are saying the same thing, so I know I am right that this was a special moment in Survivor history. I was laughing so hard as the names were read. I actually went back and watched it again. And I'm going to save it for later tonight and watch that part again!

Chris

There's still the off-chance that one of the non-moldy-oldy alliance will run the table and win immunity to get to the final four and beyond. Now the pressure is definitely on Julie and Ami. Remember in the Amazon edition where Jenna Morasca poured it on and had a nice cadre of supporters on the jury when she blew away the guys in the final 2 immunity challenges. This could also help either Ami or Julie should either one of them get into the final 2.

SunMonkey 11-26-04 08:46 PM

I have a feeling that once the dust settles, Julie will replace Eliza in the final four.

Great episode. :)

dstrauss 11-26-04 08:47 PM

I wouldn't say it's the greatest TC ever -- that honor is still reserved for the season 2 TC shocker when Jerri was booted out.

But this was damn close. And damn if it weren't the obvious strategy that I was yelling about the last two weeks that saved Chris and Eliza.

Jadzia 11-26-04 10:14 PM

Eliza's mother was worried about Ebola but she didn't make sure her daughter packed a sweater?

well she did give Eliza the shirt off of her back. This just feels wrong to say but big boobs must run in their family.

atlantamoi 11-27-04 05:22 AM

Agreed that TC was near the top of the best ones ever. My wife and I gave out a cheer. Glad the season became more interesting week by week.

mosquitobite 11-27-04 09:27 AM

I agree with Sun Monkey. I think Ami will be booted next unless she wins immunity. Then I think Scout would rather get rid of Eliza. I think Twila and Chris would probably rather keep Julie around. But if they're smart everyone will realize NO ONE should take Julie to the final 2 with them because the jury will be weighted in her favor either way...I also agree Julie threw the reward on purpose.

Boot 11-27-04 09:43 AM

What made this TC so classic was that, for once this season, it was a true coup. I loved it when Ami knodded at Eliza, saying "Yeah, it's you" and then the total look of shock on her face when the votes were read. Those two so obviously thought they had everything wrapped up nice and neat. The look on Chris' face when he glanced at Sarge and Chad on his way out was awesome, too. Great TC!

In an interview on the Survivor Insider videos at CBS.com she said that she didn't throw the challenge. Who knows if whe was telling the truth or not, but she sounded sincere. She said she just drew a blank on the whole challenge and didn't remember any of it until Jeff read grapefruits, then it came to her.

I can't remember that one. I watched all of the season, but can you give me a recap? Wasn't it something about Colby as well?

taa455 11-27-04 02:37 PM

Leann was an awful player and I'm so glad to see her go. The way Leann was talking to Scout and Twila was like she was the big shot, and she was "in control" and calling the shots. HA! At least Ami has earned my respect, even though I think she is a prick and should be next to go.

Right!

At this stage, they have to be thinking of the vote. Those 4 have the final four locked now. But who would you want to be in the final two is the next important question?

If it was me, I would want to go with Eliza or Scout. Neither has distinguished themselves by how well they played. I think going in with Eliza would guarantee a win for almost any of them.

And it certainly would be better odds as far as immunity if you head into the final three with Scout and Eliza.

A few thoughts about the show

Sarge & Chad's reactions in TC were great

How many lesbians are on this island? I've counted 2 so far, is there anyone I'm missing?

It seemed like Chris was trying to guilt his girlfriend into winning the challange and then tried to make her feel bad after they lost. He seems like a real prick.

I've counted 3 so far and possibly 4
Ami, Scout & Twila (I know that she has a son but I still think she's a lesbian)
Leann is possibly a lesbian.

As I've posted many many many times, Chris is just a moron.

Patman 11-27-04 04:57 PM

Chris is a lesbian too.

RandyC 11-27-04 06:25 PM

It is amazing who is left in the game. Think back to day 1 and when Chris single handedly lost the challenge because he could not cross the balance. What we did not fully grasp at this point though, was how generally stupid the men's team turned out to be.

Who would have thunk that the final two could be Chris and Scout?

Really? I thought Chris said "I'm sorry I lost" to his lady. I don't think he was trying to "guilt" her into anything. He expressed to her the simple truth that the immunity was very important, but I don't remember him trying to make her feel bad about losing. In fact he had nothing but high praise for her during tribal council.

My husband thinks they must be on the Island Lesbos.

SunMonkey 11-27-04 09:31 PM

Yeah, aside from screaming directions at her during the challenge (my wife thought he should have been more encouraging), I thought Chris was very caring toward his girlfriend.

I think he was just trying to be loud. It is difficult for most men to be loud without sounding angry or harsh (just ask my wife, lol).
