Just watched it on tape after being gone earlier this evening, good episode, I thought the 30 minute penalty would hurt them more at the end. And crimeny, why would you NOT learn to drive stick before coming on a show like this? That's like going on Survivor not knowing how to swim!

I'm going to start a weekly countdown:
"Top Five Reasons Team O.P.U.S. is the Worst Team Ever"
5)"We're number one, we're number ONE!" at the Viking village
4)Mr. O.P.U.S. taking his shirt off to do the ski-jump zip line (oh yes, he did, I checked the tape, and he was still shirtless as they were running away)... WTF?? In that climate?? Not necessary for ANY other team, makes him look like he thinks "I'm too sexy for my shirt" , and mostly, not a pleasant sight.
3)"You need to look inside yourself... no, not me, you..." to his wife
2)Screaming at other teams so much on the boat that he not only made one girl cry, but seemed to earn the universal disgust of the other teams: "Get your own bag" from one of the other guys.
1)Mr. O.P.U.S. actually pushing his wife away when he was getting directions to the Viking village, and carelessly whacking her head with the hatchback at Viking village (not intentional, but easily avoided with an ounce of care), and shoving her aside as they were running to the bridge... she's ON YOUR TEAM, twit!

Can you imagine what this guy's audition tape was like?? Even Colin in last season didn't get hated THIS fast. Which leads me to the idea I have for a Pool: who wants to put money down on how many more eps pass before Jonathan pisses off locals enough to get arrested? Hey, if Colin did it, it's a much closer jump for Jonathan.

Oh, but lots of high-humor moments this ep:
- Team Grandparents: "Where we made our great mistake was in not remembering that Mary Jane had difficulty with a bow and arrow..." "Where who made our great mistake?" [Pause, and a look] "I did"
- The one guy, falling over and over and over and OVER again in the downhill ski-skating... I'm sorry, but that was
- The "I'm just weird" guy with the hair-horns screaming for Mom all the way down the zipline
- The look on Team Sisters faces when they were watching Jonathan jump up and down because he thought he was first to the Viking village
- The look on EVERYONE's faces when they were setting out in the boats, with how the teams were divided!
- The look on Phil's face when Team Wrestlers checked in and the woman grabbed him! He looked scared.

Not sure who was exactly in Jonathan's boat, but any guy whose wife/GF was screamed at by Jonathan and didn't do anything about is a wuss. Hell, if he said one thing disrespectful to my wife, I would have thrown him overboard.

Just as an aside, this has to be one of the top 10 things I've never expected to hear in my lifetime.

I think that the blond sister should have thrown that local kid a courtesy for helping them. That would have made the kid's year.

The sisters are becoming my favorite team (because they are both really hot), I just hope that they stick around for a little while.

How did the two girls from NY get cast? They weren't interesting and they definitely weren't anything to look at.


I agree with the above statement about wanting to throw Jonothan out of the boat if he talked to my GF like that, but I'm willing to bet that there are rules against physical violence against other players on the show. Had someone (Kendra's BF is the only one on that boat that may have) done it, they would have probably been disqualified.

Probably so, but I would at least have given him the verbal beatdown of his life. Johnathon is the type that is all talk and no balls and would cower in fear if someone actually went off on him.

The funniest part was when Don and MJ took off in the wrong SUV (Hellboy's) while Hellboy and Rebecca were frantically looking for their SUV. That had to be one of the best bits on TAR.

Kris and Jon are my favorite couple this season, and the sisters are the eye-candy special for this season.

I am pulling for Kris and Jon.

How about that Lena?

I sure hope these last two episodes aren't the model for all future ones. If there is an overnight stop every night, it will suck.

The father daughter team seem like deserving winners. Man if that blue haired punked yelled at my wife, I'd be having serious words with him. The guy needs to get beaten up a bit.

Did anyone notice the look of terror on Phil's face with Lori (wrestler chick) grabbed him by the shirt and started shaking him? I didn't catch what she said, but Phil's face was classic.

I think that was an act of Phil trying to be funny. It was funny though.

He was screaming at the girl behind him, who was one of the NY girls, so she didn't have a husband/BF with her. I don't remember who was it to whom Jonathan said "OK you grab the bags, I'll hold the boat" or something, and whatever guy it was said "Get your own bags!". I think he was just hugely unpleasant to everyone.

What's crazy is that it's not even the editing that is making Jonathan look psycho. The other teams clearly see it too.
