I cracked up at that!
Also liked the Mexican Cloud Mir Vodka sign and the return of the Cornballer in Michael's new "office."

I love how the audience is just as clueless as to who Ann is as Michael is. Weird thing is she is different than the Ann we saw in "Let Them Eat Cake". This one is cute and quiet, the other one was kinda tomboyish.
And the shot of the Mexicans using the stair car to jump over the fence was classic! (and a nice ode to S1 where the prisoner uses it to escape).

Got an observation about Ann. When Michael and Maebe are in the Stair-Car talking about Lindsay and Ann, the narrator says "At no point were they talking about the same person, even though there were only four in their group." Actually, though, with Michael, George Michael, Maebe, Lindsay and Ann, there's five. So even the narrator is not counting Ann?

When the poster that says 'Never give up' falls off the wall, Gob says.."Damn! Just leave it there!"

Michael: No, whoever gets there first.

This is the only show that I feel confident enough to "sell" friends and family on (although I doubt my aged parents would get it). For me, watching the show, then coming here to read about stuff I may have missed, then rewatching the show has become a new "bad habit". Every other show I recorded gets deleted as soon as I'm done.
The "preview" in the hospital was totally awesome! Thank (deity of your choice) that there is no laugh track to fuck this up!

The recurring joke with Gene Parmesean was just as funny (if not funnier) than last week's recurring Tobias joke! I really hope he's on more episodes.

the blueprint thing had me rolling, too. as soon as he tackled tobias, i was like "aw, man. the blueprint!"
great show. The comments regarding anne were great (like someone mentioned, the "look who's riding that hog in the rear view mirror!"

Well she definitely used the big printer, I will give her that.
I loved that the corporate model was wearing a Q pendant.

Will Arnett ("Gob") was on Loveline last night. He's a great guest! I found out he does voiceovers for GMC, and he does a damn good impression of the guy who does the promos for The OC
You can download an mp3 of the entire show here You can get a higher quality recording from alt.binaries.great if you have usenet access.

As someone else has said, the episodes just keep getting better this season. Although I still liked and laughed during the season opener, I didn't think it was quite up to last season, but still funnier than anything else on TV. But man, last night was truly hilarious. I guess the show hasn't lost anything after its summer break.

Nice little throwaway exchange.

The latest episode helps prove once again just why this show is so great. It's almost like in each episode, you have a new "greatest line ever on TV".
Last week's classic line was:
Buster: "I heard zoo noises."
And my favorite line/exchange from this episode was:
Buster: "Mother!"
Lucille: "Buster, I thought you were in Mexico!"
Buster: "So did I!"
But like I said, you can list funny laugh out loud bits from each episode, there is just so much here for it to be only 21 minutes of show. I still can't believe that they cram so much fantastic material into so few minutes.
I also liked:
Buster: "And a hand chair, I had one in my room! I wonder where that went."
Narrator: "It went right there."

That is RH doing the voice over? Huh. I never made the connection.
Did anyone catch the article in USA Today a couple weeks back? Full page feature to fill people in on characters and plots in case they just start watching this season. Pretty good stuff. Anyway they mention the shooting schedule, pretty impressive. Unlike other comedies that rehearse throughout the week and then do the show on Friday, AD shoots 12 hours a day 5 days a week, a tv drama shooting schedule. Amazing how much work goes into a 21 minute show.

"I think his knee is on my heart. Please get off, I have to go to the hospital."
"To tell you the truth, Michael, I saw him coming, I just wanted to know where he was going with that." The best part about that is you can see Gob look off behind Michael and then look back before Ice tackles Michael.
"Ann? Oh thank goodness you're okay!" "Mr. Bluth?" "Ann! Thank goodness you're okay! You are Ann, right?"
"Wow, you and Ann got really close." "I don't like her."
So many brilliant lines. And it really is amazing how seemingly throwaway bits from previous episodes come to fruition in a major way in later episodes. WhoGirl and I just finished watching season 1 on DVD and there are so many clues hidden all the way back to the pilot.
