I liked this one as well. It just seemed more simple (slower paced?) and the characters stood out a bit more. Nelson ordering Bart to eat and Ralph's antics were the highlights for me. Less Homer is always good too.

Does anyone know Homer's exact quote when he's talking to Marge in bed about the kids growing older.

It was something about having hours and hours of free time and then something about being in the grave.

Damn, that really cracked me up...

Continued bringing the funny this week. Still a big fan.

I thought the ending was cute....how so many episodes resolve all of the stories but Lisa refused to play along. Laughed out loud at the Lenny cake!

Homer: So they're growing up. Soon they'll be leaving the nest and you'll have time for yourself. Hundreds of thousands of hours. And then... the piece of the grave.

Finally a funny episode this season. The panties had me rolling, too. The Lisa/big butt/eating disorder subplot felt a bit forced and contrived to make a point, but otherwise it was solid stuff.

Hate to chime in late, but I did enjoy this episode. I found it odd that Marge wouldn't make Nelson go to school, but that's being too picky.

Definitely loved the intercourse line. I also liked:

"I thought you guys weren't together anymore?"
"Oh, we're not. This is purely physical."
"Yes. Something you've made abundantly clear."
