Decent episode, nothing terrible and nothing spectacular. I agree about it opening open some possibilities. And i especially agree about not giving a damn about Lana's subplot.

I especially liked how Clark saved Lex by swirling his jacket around causing the fire to evaporate into the air. Great unintentional comedy right there.
Kinda like Clark's dancing.

I agree with the sentiments of the thread thinking it was an only ok episode which is quite surprising considering who was the focus.
Don't throw things at me, but I think Kristen is doing a great job a Lana this year. Her acting seems to be catching up to her looks.

I feel the same as most. Mostly "eh". You can really feel the void when there's no Lois. I kinda agree about Kristen's improved acting but with the spectre of Lois, it's getting really overshadowed.

OK, I'm not going to read this thread because I don't want any spoilers... that said, does anyone know if they re-play the entire series traditionally? I've only watched Smallville on DVD and have become addicted. I don't want to wait until Season 4 comes out on DVD (and maybe miss some of season 5). I definitely plan on Tivo'ing these if they come on again. Maybe a marathon?

It kinda stinks, too, as even though he fell into the background of the show as soon as he learned Clark's secret, it was still nice having someone other than his parents know.

Maybe he'll come back at the end of the series as Vice President?
Also, i'm surprised that the weekly thread is only one page long. No one watches anymore? Or no one thought that much of this episode?
Well, I didn't either.
