What happened to Tommy's brother on "Rescue Me"? (the one from "Oz")
He was there for most of the season and then he wasn't. Tommy was then talking to another brother right? And neither were at their dad's funeral, so anyone know what is up with all this? Thanks in advance.

I think that we are all still debating it. Tommy has a few brothers (I am thinking four or six), so some thing that he has just been talking to a different brother (James Badge Dale "Timo"), while others think that Scott Winters ("Johhny") has been replaced. Since they have different names, I think that he was just not used towards the end of the season.

I thought Leary said that he got some other work while they were filming the series, thus the introduction of Timo. But there is a good chance he will pop back up next season.

they better have been picked up and not just for next season!! "Rescue Me" is an unbelievable show and there shouldn't have been any doubt that this would be picked up!!

The brother returned to his role on NYPD Blue. He played Hatcher on there last season and they had a mini story arc involving him at the beginning of this season.

Dean Winters played Ryan O'Reily on OZ, and played Tommy's brother Johnny Gavin on Rescue Me.

Scott was on CSI: Miami last night. Any chance they may use him as another Gavin brother? I think he has 1 or 2 more out there hiding.
