11/7/04 The Simpsons: TOH XV

It seemed like the world series was so long ago. Anyway, this is an early reminder that the TOH is tonight at 8PM EST. Hope it's a good one!

I'm pretty excited about the new Simpsons and AD, but I jst can't get into my big fat obnoxious boss. I'll be changing to ABC at 8.

I have a feeling it is really going to be hit or miss.. Fat Fiance(sp) was really well done and the main actor did a tremendous job

Let's see how long after the show starts before all the comments about how the Simpsons sucks.

But, if a show like Enterprise can turn around, maybe there's hope yet for the Simpsons.

blah

The first number was funny enough, but the other 2 numbers were sh*t.

I really hope it gets better than this for the season.

The Newfoundland channel shows it at 6:30 Est- thats why Ive seen it

Just watched the episode. I really liked it. I have to admit though, TOH episodes generally fall amongst my favorite for the year.

My favorite part:

Spoiler:
The use of the Perfect Strangers theme!

The first two numbers were okay, but the last one was pretty weak.

I agree about the first part being the best. I think I nodded off during the second part.

I really need to remember to stop watching Malcolm in the Middle BEFORE the Simpsons. Malcolm was a riot and the Simpsons was... well it was a typical episode of the Simpsons in recent years. Sub-par and yet still better than a lot of the crap on TV.

first was ok, second was boring, third part was entertaining. ended kinda weak.

Still, a bad simpsons episode is still better than most of the stuff on tv now a days.

M'eh. Glad to have it back, but this was a rather weak beginning to new episodes. Loved how they got Kodos into every segment though.

nice muttonchops on them as well.

My DVR messed up. Can anyone give me a run down of the first 2 minutes, [the Perfect Strangers thing] and the very ending? [I got to where Homer was trying to eat the pie].

Third act didn't do much for me either. Liked the first one. Second one was a little different, didn't really fit most of the characters.

I don't think the DVR messed up, I think the episode ran long.

My Tivo records Simpsons for 30 minutes. It chopped off the beginning AND the end! That is more than 30 minutes!

Guess I'll have to start padding.
