Arrested Development - 11/07 (Please please watch it this year!)

I know I'm preaching to the choir, but tell your friends and neighbors. FOX is only smart for little bursts at a time.

TV Tome's article: Why You Have No Excuse to Miss Season 2

Sunday Nov 7 8:30/7:30c
"The One Where Michael Leaves" (pt 2 of 2)
Spoiler:
In the second season premiere, George Sr. is at large, making Michael next in line to be prosecuted for the Bluth Co. crimes. Meanwhile, Michael is vexed to find that the family is fine without him, and police mistake Oscar for George Sr. and arrest him.

I'm not watching this stupid crap!

Wait, you say it's hilarious? You say it's the funniest thing on TV? Better than Scrubs, even? Hmm ...

P.S. It's 11/07 (in the title)

This is the premire?

I just finished watching season 1 on DVD and I'm a convert. For some reason I thought the second season had already started, but it looks like I lucked out.

I guess some padding is in order on Tivos and ReplayTVs in case the Fox NFL games run over?

Central time as well most likely, since it's a 7:30 slot here. Better to pad and not need than to not pad and need!

Can't wait, I'm glad the season premiere date *finally* arrived!

Why would you need padding with the Tivo. Isn't one of the most basic functions that it will record when it comes on, delayed or not?

Not when games or things go over their usual time. Tivo doesn't check for schedule updates every 5 minutes or anything like that.

I think the time slot move is good for the show. The Simpsons audience will lead in better then the Malcolm in the Middle audience. Also, although it's not a concern this season, I hated having to choose between this and the Sopranos.

Won't they just bump King of the Hill like they used to do with Futurama?

Because people don't like King of the Hill as much as Futurama.

FOX doesn't kill terrible shows. Only good shows they kill.

I admit I didn't watch Arrested Development last season. I watched the series premiere and wasn't overly impressed, so I didn't make the effort to tune in during later weeks.

I happened to catch a rerun of a later episode, though, and liked it a lot better. When the first season DVD set came out, I rented it and loved nearly every second of it. So, I'll certainly be watching this season.

Not interested. If it's got Jason Bateman in it, it's sure to be a "cookie cutter" crap sitcom. Plus, the ratings were poor last season so it can't be that good.

Wow, that was one of your weaker "Grouchoisms".
