Sounds like the show is pretty much a goner. Never saw it once, so I don't know if this is a good thing or not.

Never saw it either, but I never heard anybody who did have anything nice to saw about it.

Go back to The West Wing, Rob. They need you.

Not surprised.

West Wing doesn't need Rob. It needs Sorkin back.

I thought that it was pretty good. I taped it and watched it when I got a chance. It was not as good as Joey Pants last show, the Handler, but still not bad for a Friday night show.

so rob lowe is 0-2 since leaving the west wing. good choice rob. although with the state of TWW nowadays, maybe it wasn't such a bad idea.

I liked the show. It was certainly better than Medical Investigation

yeah same thinking here.. I only caught like 2 eps but from what I saw it was not that bad of a show.. I just felt like a weak setting being the other Vegas show, Las Vegas is just that much better of a set and over all cast on some level.

Dr Vegas might as well have been set in a dive casino like Cal Neva (anyone who has been to reno will understand that). Also did not helped that same week, both shows ran a "I'm in Vegas to die" theme ep..

Oh well, sure he will get picked up on another show but if he wanted to be a guest start sort of player I guess he would never have left that West Wing show..

I saw one episode, I think it was the pilot. I liked the way they showed the down side of Las Vegas, with gambling addicts and people losing everything. It was kind of a bold move. I think people expected the show to be more upbeat, because the previews made it look like it was fun and happy. It looks like Rob Lowe even thought that's what it was, based on his comments in the article. I can't say I'm going to miss it though, I don't even know what night it was on.

I usually give a new show at least five episodes before I decide whether to keep it on my TiVo's season passes or not. Dr. Vegas got two episodes. I'm really not surprised this got the axe.

Too bad, I had high expectations for this show too. I'm a little surprised that Tom Sizemore stayed out of trouble long enough to film the series.
