David Boreanaz to star in new ABC Drama
Source: The Hollywood Reporter November 1, 2004
Former Angel star David Boreanaz is set for an ABC drama project based on the life of undercover hit man Jack Ballantine, says The Hollywood Reporter. The show comes from Warner Bros. Television and studio-based Tannenbaum Co.
Feature writer Patrick Smith Kelly (Don't Say a Word) is penning the script, which would star Boreanaz as an undercover cop in the world of murder for hire.
Boreanaz recently completed the independent films Mr. Fix It and The Hard Easy. He is filming another indie, These Girls, written and directed by John Hazlett.

Surprised to see him heading back to TV so soon. It'll be interesting to see how this works out.

With the recent success of Lost and Desparate Housewives, I'm hopeful ABC can get another one right.
However, the description didn't leave me with a warm fuzzy.

I think ABC would do quite well just having a weekly 30-minute show where David picks out bikinis and lingerie for his wife, Jamie Bergman, to model.

Good luck to David, but chances are that if this even makes it past development, it will only last half a season.

If David hadnt been so cocky lately about reprising the role of Angel I might be happy for him.
Sure The WB cancelled your show and they were wrong but how about a few movies to make the fans happy? Same goes for Sarah.

Good luck, David, trying to get the Angel fans to accept you in a different role.

Hey, if he's trying to get back into TV, maybe we'll get an "Angel" season six after all!
Don't know what J., Amy, Andy, Alexis, and James are doing, but I wouldn't mind seeing the old gang back together next fall...
