A pretty good episode.
Looks like they got Paula Marshall off the show before the effect she has on shows can take hold.
I enjoyed the ending with her mom calling her.

For those interested, the show hit a season high last week with 3.1 million viewers. This means that for the past few weeks, the ratings have continued to climb.

Kinda sad to see the bf go. He and Veronica had a nice chemistry.

Only 2 responses so far?? C'mon, this is one of the best new shows of the season. Anyway, great episode...ha, I knew Troy would turn out to be an asshat. Looking forward to seeing what the deal is with Veronica's mom.
Yeah, I'm kind of hoping she returns.
Sorry to see Paula go since she is quite purdy. If I was Veronica's pops I would tell her to deal with it, cause there is no way I'm turning Paula away.

I thought that was the best one by far. Again, they're much better off treating the biker guy and the Logan guy as normal people, rather than the hellspawn they were in the first couple eps.
Dude, where's your car?

This episode probably went a little too fast in wrapping up Veronica's relationship with Troy, but then again, Veronica's narration even addressed this point, so I guess it's a reflection of the speed of realization for her, especially after her dad gives her the file on Troy.
How many teenagers could afford to send out so many prepaid cell phones in order to contact her mother. At least Veronica knows that her mom didn't run out on her because her mom didn't want her anymore, but to protect her. Resourceful is Veronica's middle name.
Is the ice melting between Veronica and Logan, it seems so.
Wallace cracking on Troy was kinda funny. Wallace's grown quite a pair since the series premiere.
Hopefully Keith ending it with the Paula Marshall character will give this show a chance (because of the Paula Marshall show cancellation curse).

I guess I don't follow Paula Marshall's career enough to be aware of her curse. She was on that show with Gina Gerson, Snoops?
In her defense, wasn't she the "you remind me of Lois Lane" girl on Seinfeld?

Good episode for a good show. She had Troy's number and really stuck it to him. One thing though, the steroids were worth only $8000. How far could he have gotten on that?

So can someone recap what happened with the boyfriend? I am confused. I was only half watching it, so I think that I must have missed some stuff.

Cool. Thanks for the replay.
So his girlfriend took the car and hid it while they were at the restaurant? Interesting.
I am glad that he is gone. He was not good enough for my Veronica.

Pretty good ep.
You knew the boyfriend would only be around so long since the actor's name kept popping up as a guest star.
I hope Paula's guidance counselor is at least a recurring character.
The revelation about her mother and the end was a nice touch.

I don't have anything specific to say about this episode, but I would like to say that the show is EASILY my favorite new drama of this season. I'm liking it even more than Lost.
And here's hoping that Paula Marshall does show up again. Curse or no curse--she sure is easy on the eyes.

This is my second favorite new show behind LOST. I'm two episodes behind now with them recorded and waiting to be watched. Hope it doesn't get canned.

When EW listed the five best shows on TV now, they had Desperate Housewives, Lost, The Wire, Arrested Development, and Veronica Mars. I was thrilled to see it there.
As for my favorite new show, for now, I would have to rate Desperate Housewives in first, followed closely by Veronica Mars, and then Lost.

Count me in among those who love the new holy trinity of tv shows - Lost, Desperate Housewives, and Veronica Mars.
That is the order in which I place them, although I must say if any of the three were cancelled I'd be pissed beyond consoling.
Anyway, as to this week's ep - fantastic. Loved the reckoning at the end for the steroid guy and the ex-psedo-boyfriend, loving the bits of the mystery re: the mom and the death of Lilly Kane.

This is one of the best shows right now on TV. You guys were not wrong about that at all.
I'm really happy that one of our Canadian network has decided to air all of the episodes of this past season this summer. I'm seriously considering paying extra money to be able to get UPN on my Canadian digital package for this coming fall season. I know that sounds crazy.
They aired this episode this week. I loved the ending and I agree that this show works better by making Logan and Weevil behave more human than in the previous episodes.
