Doesn't SNL still require the artist to actually sing the song without the canned vocals? I know it use to be that way.

I remember a long time ago when Stevie Nicks was on and she forgot the lyrics to her song and bumbled around for almost half of it. She felt so bad about she came back as the musical guest a month later.
