Much better than last week's snoooooze fest.

Was that the anchorman from Good Morning Miami as the husband?

I agree. I actually laughed a few times during this episode too. I couldn't stop staring at Drea's stomach. That girl must work out, I wonder what the small of her back looks like

The Joey and Alex scenes were funny, as were Joey's ideas for the beauty shop.

I concur. I didn't think she was that hot at the beginning of the show, but she's growing on me.

I actually want to see more of Joey's neighbor who's in love with Gina. I think he's hilarious. Is that weird?

Did anyone notice that the magazine Joey sat down to read in the salon Gina worked at had a B&W photo that said "Adriana" on it? Thought that was kind of wierd...

Barings - I was under the impression that this episode was supposed to be aired LAST WEEK and was moved back to this week (who knows). This might explain why that character wasn't in the episode because he hadn't be introduced yet.

Good episode, but I don't see where it is going. Nothing has really "happened" yet. They should get Joey a job or at least have him looking more often. BTW I read that Bob Odenkirk ("nemesis" Brian Michael David Scott) will be a recurring character.

Ok episode.
Joey and the "heroes"

I don't like the idea of Joey possibly breaking up an existing relationship especially an engaged one (or are they married?)

I'd kinda like to see an episode where Joey visits Michael at Caltech. Joey with a bunch of nerds seems like it would be good for a few laughs.

Husband = married.

I, too, don't like the idea of Joey breaking up a marriage. I doubt he'd have a hand in it if it happened, though.

Couldn't believe they casted Gavin from "Good Morning Miami" as Alex's husband. It rates an "eh" from me.

This was one of the weaker episodes for me. Nothing really hit a comedic home run in the episode, more like a punch-drunk boxer swinging away, trying to land a good punch.

Same here. She looked great in those skirts though.

I don't like the idea of Joey breaking up a marriage either. But if he helps her realize the marriage isn't working and then they hook up, I could be all right with that. I think it would be better if she wasn't married. I could never see the husband again, and I would be all right.

Seems like Alex is beginning to sense that her marriage may not be all she wants it to be by saying that her husband should take Joey seriously (as a threat).

We still need the nerd guy to drop in more at Joey's, he is hilarious.

Don't really seem to need Brian Michael David Scott - seemed to be a one-note character.

Can't really believe I'm still watching this.

I don't want Joey and Alex to get together at all. I want her to be single, prancing around in provocative attire.

I think the Joey and Alex "thing" is going to be the shows Rachel/Ross thing for the years to come (if it makes it that far). I think they will play it out and see if fan response is high on them getting together. And drag it out for eternity.

I wouldn't recommend it to friends. I watch it because I am a TV junkie and watch most things. If you are not a TV junkie or Friends junkie, I would skip it.
