Well, we know this episode was shot first.
No Sara for the first 20 minutes and no Nick for the first 30. Clearly this episode was patched together to compensate for the "difficulties" at the start of the season and it shows. Rather uninvolving story with a pretty pedestrian bad guy.

I'm a big fan of CSI, and I think this may have been the dullest episode I've seen from them.

Travels through the Las Vegas sewer system and explosions at the end qualify as a dull episode?
This was a pretty good episode. How often do we see that kind of stuff? (The sewer part at any rate)

My wife is a civil engineer and was all giddy from the sewer system stuff. She said they were mostly correct in what they were doing.
I've learned long ago to disregard most TV shows when they use computer technology. I love how they can blow up a photo and see the suspect in someone's glasses reflection. It's a bit much sometimes.

meh
I liked the opening shot with the rats pouring out of the sewer.
WTF was up with Warrick and Catherine? I really wish they wouldn't dive into the personal lives of the characters because they do such a terrible job of it. They'll introduce something and then not bring it up again for half a season. I remember them hinting last season about putting the two of them together but that scene last night was just uncomfortable to watch.
A lot of stuff just seemed like it was their to gross out the audience. Greg having to watch the autopsy and then having to provide "samples" to Grissom so he could test how fast the fetal pigs broke down(which I would be shocked if that info wasn't already available)

I found it funny that they were so quick to accept that the first dead body (the inner tuber) was an accident, but in many episodes in the past few seasons, they go way overboard investigating things that look like simple accidents (most of which end up not being simple accidents, of course).

I still think the Las Vegas version is the best CSI on the air. I liked the first half of the episode, but the last half seemed scattershot in how the case unravelled. Will Catherine and Warwick just get on with it or what? Watching Grissom watch Greg's reaction to his first autopsy was strangely entertaining to a degree. When Grissom asked for #2, I busted out LOL. I just don't think I could go there in a work environment...eww...

this is an example if why I dislike NY so much, the cast here is perfect, its a much brighter, funnier feel to the show, there is some humor even if it all revolves around greg.
the cast is so much better.
my ranking is
Miami
Vegas

^^ You must have been typing too fast, because you put that turd of a show Miami over the other two.
