Probably because she is the first woman on the show who tried to cut through all the catty bullshit and win.

Carolyn = Pamela. Both seem as abrasive as 40 grit sandpaper, both are ice cold, they both delight in poking fun of others looks/persona/mannerisms (quite an odd sense of humor). But enough about the Queen bitches of the universe....

Anna was smoking hot, came off as a sweetheart, and had those guys drooling. Yahoo.com has some scenes from their play and man, it is hard to take your eye off of her. Even McEnroe's ego wannt enough to overcome that.

Mini-Stacy is the cancer of the girl group.

Midget Stacy is a total bitch.

If I were that black girl I would have pulled out the magic 8-ball two weeks ago and went ghetto sorceress on her ass.

and then took out that fine ass short haired woman after gutting the asian chick.

Little Stacie is a cancer.

It's as if the only thing she's there to do is disagree with the team leader of the week.

I can't wait for next weeks episode. The preview they showed of Carolyn being brought to tears laughing by the guy's bumbling should be worth it alone

These chicks are setting the women's movement back decades.

Pamela really was an idiot when it came to the legal issues. Totally deserved to be fired just for that.

I agree completely. Bossy does not equal leadership.

I dont understand all the Pamela love either...Remember she was the only team leader of the men's team that lost, and she should have been fired then. $30.00 for fucking sponges?? Thats why she got fired. She has made some bad decisions, and Trump mentioned that when he fired her.

I definitly think a woman will win this year...This show has been pretty predictable, and is setting up just like last year.

Honestly without stating net profits as opposed to gross, how can you possibly determine the winner? As someone said, they could've just priced the grill at 10 bucks and sold an enormous amount. Those sponges might've cost $20 to produce for all we know. It just makes the whole exercise meaningless since that factor doesn't seem to come into the equation when determining the winner. Sure, QVC would rather not divulge that information (not to mention did they pick their respective products? there's more to sales then just how much it costs and presentation. Seems like market demand, timing of the show, lots of other factors arent' even considered. Considering the difference was $10 (which doesn't really tell much since we have no idea what their expenses would be) and considering we have no idea the popularity of said products, saturation of said products, etc etc. I don't know, it was amusing but seems more like a weak business project than an accurate one. Pamela seemed to me to do a good job. Expecting her to "read" these people well in an hour is a rather ridiculous expectation, something I doubt even Trump could do much better.

I've never really watched this show before, it was interesting, but the results seem rather arbitrary rather than really rooted in business skill. Still, a better show than most reality programs.

They would have to have sold at least 7 times as many. Which, might have been possible, but who knows.

A couple of notes:

1. I agree with Red Dog and Groucho. Pamela was a horrible leader. She's lost twice now. She's bossy and a micro-manager. She didn't whip the girls into shape, she made them all hate her. None of the respected her.

2. They didn't call the guys' $10 win a blow out. They called the guys' 4-in-a-row win a blow out.

True, but that's not the point. It just means in the end, the girls very well could have won, since we have no idea what their expenses would've been. The 9.99 thing is an extreme, but the base cost is not only relevant, but one of the main deciding factors in setting a price. Ignoring it is the same as saying...it costs nothing. I guess that was where they were set at, but I just didn't see much information at how these guys arrived at their price choices, so it seemed pretty haphazard (especially since price was the main issue that they focused on as why they won or not).

I think that Net Profit would have been better, but I don't think how they did it was necessarily bad. From what I remember, both teams were able to pick their product and their price. There was strategy involved in both of those decisions. If you set the price too low, you might sell more, but not make enough money.

maybe not, but that post you made was pretty freakin' wierd.

Also, the Saturday night presentation of the show adds a lot to the boardroom.

Basically, everyone voted that Pamela should be fired (although you could tell that Ivana only voted that way cuz everyone else did...she was gonna say someone else but realized that strategically that would've been a bad idea).

Um. It was obviously a joke towards the black Stacy being voted off for being "crazy".

But that midget stacy is still a bitch.
