That looks like a mask, not the REAL Burger King! Does he at least still sing the song?

I'm the marvelous magical Burger King,
I can do most anything!
I make magic and burger and fries,
and here's something new right before your eyes!

(at end of commercial, singing with all the kids)
Great food and fun for everyone- Burger King, Yay!

I'm having 70s-era flashbacks of a pickle kazoo.

If the Burger King is in bed with you, does make you his Queen?

He's the butch, and you're the bitch.

Good gawd! Is that just the creepiest, most disturbing commercial or what?

You know it has to be bad if Phil L is disturbed by it. (see his adult threads)

That is damn creepy.

Seriously, that is the sort of thing I would have nightmares about as a kid...waking up in the morning and finding some hideous thing staring at me.

But it is memorable enough to warrant a 2 page post at DVDTalk. The marketing department did their job well.

I gotta learn how to post pictures online, I've got a bunch of the old-school Burger King commercials on DVD I could put up! (Yes, I'm a sick bastard.)

Well, there's memorable and there's memorable.
I mean, they could have a commercial where they light a basket of puppies on fire and it would be memorable.

Will it get me to talk about it? Most probably.
Will it get me to buy their product? Not bloody likely.

You just do not understand advertising.

If you do not like BK, this commercial, won't change your mind. There is a lot of subconscious motivation at work. You don't know when advertising is affective. They really don't need you as a customer. Consider it only has to have 2% veiwer return to be success. When we are dealing with millions of people it becomes a significant amount of money. Easily paying for the ad.

Creepy, yes, but better than the inevitable commercial where the two Sonic guys wind up in bed.
