Nip/Tuck 10/05/2004 Season Finale

"Joan Rivers"

Spoiler:
Joan Rivers consults with Sean and Christian about surgery and makes an astonishing request; Sean, Christian and Julia learn the shocking truth about Ava.

Episode Number 29
First Aired October 5, 2004

Guest Stars:
Spoiler:
Joan Rivers (as Herself) Alec Baldwin (as Dr. Barett Moore)
Famke Janssen (as Ava Moore) Kelly Carlson (as Kimber Henry)

Anyway, just a heads up that this is on tonight. And if you are recording on DVR or VCR, please remember to pad your recording by 15 minutes or so. Last years finale ran over by about 5 minutes, and if you missed it you missed the best part!

One thing I really have to remember to do! Last weeks cut off a minute or two and I had to record a later airing.

Actually, I'm glad it has - there has only been a few good episodes. I'm ready for it to be over with and if Ryan Murphy is leaving to do other things, I hope they end the show's run.

It sure has gone by fast. It has been a great season and I think that is why it has gone so fast. Can't wait to see it tonight.

If they kill off Matt, then I might want the show to come back.

I'm depressed because B.A. didn't start this thread.

Cannot wait for this episode. Should be fantastic, if last week's was anything to go by.

Also, even if Ryan Murphy leaves, the show still has places to go. It would take the right people to do it, but it could have a few more seasons in it.

B.A., you should be happy. Matt was hardly in this season (at least after finding out who his father was)

No, I didn't.

If you take a look at the season as a whole, Matt is in the picture until he finds out that Christian is his father! He is in the episodes after that, but just barely. He usually did a walk on role in those (one scene, maybe). Then in the last three episodes the Matt/Ava/Adrian storyline pops up.

I never said he was completely written out of the whole show.

I knew that they wouldn't end the Carver storyline. It's just too good...

I'll admit that was one hell of a finale - I'm happy that Ava and Adrian are gone for good. I liked the guest spot of Alec Baldwin, but we could have done w/out the scariness that is Joan Rivers.

The best part of the show - Sean's dream at the beginning when he was talking to the drug dealer in surgery. Damn, that was a good scene. Best of the year.

Great finale.

Spoiler:
I still want to know who the carver is. I think it's kind of obvious that Christian did/does die and if he does, I would think that there'd be no third season.

I was disappointed. The first surprise about Ava's identity was more of a shock then the last scene.

Spoiler:
I find it hard to believe Christian's house wouldn't be watched by the cops

Spoiler:
The cops only cared about what was going on with Sean vs. the Carver. Did they ever mention something possibly happening with Christian and the Carver?

Spoiler:
There is no way that he is dead. I think the Carver just rearranged his face a little. But if they do kill Christian off, I give them props for having balls, but I don't know if the show would be all that great anymore.
