She made herself a target by confronting Twila in front of everyone so she deserved to go.

I didnt like Mia but since she was on Julie's side I was rooting for her.
One of the two hot chicks is gone already and the other seems to be on her way out baring a miracle.
And the guys tribe gets more annoying by the episode. I dont like Lea, I dont like Rory, I dont like the hillbilly, and I really dont like Chris. Chad is the only alliance guy I can stand.

Well, count down the days till Eliza is gone.
Atleast she'll leave before the hunger strikes her and she looks nasy with those big boobs and no meat on her bones.

This was what I thought as well. Not only was she ugly and Golem skinny, she was one of the biggest bitches in Survivor history, who did nothing for her tribe.
I loved her argument with Twila, she was pissed because Twila called her on her laziness (even though she only said some work more than others) and she uses the excuse that we could do more stuff if you didn't do it first. Well do it, or don't - just STFU when you are too lazy to do it and someone else does it.

There sure are a lot of titties this season.
Scout's comments were great: "good luck finding a man to put up with you."
I really hope next week Eliza is pissed because Lisa switched sides. It will be fun to rag on her for being a hypocrite.
Mia was just plain annoying.

lol- we were laughing at Twila for that one too!
I loved the look on Eliza's face when Mia's name was called to leave. She had this sudden look of horror and her mouth hit the floor.

Julie looked so sad after another ally's departure. I think I need to console her.

Mia's post-vote parting comments only confirmed what a wench she is.

She may have something. And she needs to be next as she is the next most annoying Survivor.

Can we see Rory gone next on the guys side? He now serves no purpose, you have enough guys that the young ones will do your bidding, get rid of his worthless hide.

I'm already very close to deleting this Season Pass from my TiVo. No interesting personalities, and the challenges are all retreads from past seasons. Of course, the same could be said of The Apprentice too. The only decent reality show left is The Amazing Race, which I hope doesn't jump the shark like the others when it returns.

I find myself looking much more forward to the next season of The Amazing Race than I do the next episode of this Survivor. Heck, the day after the episode and we're only on the 2nd page. We'd sometimes have 3 pages before a TAR episode even aired the last few months. That to me is an indication of how much this season of Survivor has slipped.

Was anyone else bumbed that there was only one challenge, and two tribal councils in this episode? I thought it was rather anti-climatic. The challenges are the best part of the show to watch, not tribal council. By the time tribal council comes around I have a good idea who's getting the boot 90% of the time anyway. These two were no different. I'd much rather see more of the tribe dynamics and challenges, and less tribal council.

Had a discussion last night about the state of this series. I think it's normal to some extent to not get into it until we have had more episodes, learned more about the people and there was less people. I still don't feel like I know about 50% of the tribes (or don't care to). And normally I would think...just give it time.
But in this case, both tribes have created a different scenario. Both tribes have a larger alliance of the older or weaker members that are picking off the younger or stronger members. This is not good for TV. I expect around this point that the producers were scratching their heads and planning on how to fix this. Worst scenario ever for them "hey, let's vote off all the young athletic males and and all the babes!"
At the end, nobody wants to see Scout vs Chris. So... I wonder if we will see an early merge or something. I said in the first episode that the downside of a male/female tribe division is that being stronger than the other team is not an issue for the guys. Why? If it is a challenge based on strength, they can win with the older and weaker members. But if each team was more equal physically, then I think they would rethink voting off the strong ones.
Some thoughts about the show last night-
Mia... wow. Can she be more dumb? How else to be the lightning rod for a vote? She was wrong too. Twila said that some worked less. Mia later even admits it when she says that Twila played the martyr and did stuff before they could. So where is the disagreement? Unfortunately, Twila is not very smart or articulate (not sure which) and didn't handle it well. But kudos to her for admitting she was just not feminine and also for backing off from Mia. But Mia would not let it go.
Her talk when she voted and her post-vote interview pointed out her rabidness and anger. Move on.
I like Eliza... but in a "she is a hottie, but I wish she would shut up" kind of way. She is obviously working very hard at playing the game... but it is too obvious and she has too high a profile. Her early switch on the vote has marked her as a traitor and not to be trusted and her personality is not making up for it. She would have perhaps done much better if the genders were mixed.
Her yelling in the preview of next weeks episodes seems very hypocritical and perhaps smacks more of her desperation when she knows she is screwed.
Two of her alliance bailed and joined the older alliance. Must be a desperate move to change alliances, because you have to know you are still first to be voted out. But like the old saying, when being chased by a bear... I don't have to outrun the bear... I just have to outrun you.... the thought is to hang out the remaining two members of the young alliance and hope for a merge or a change somehow.
Anyone wonder why someone on the girls tribe did not take the grappling hook from Scout????
John K's choice of who he gave immunity was kinda odd. I would have picked Scout because in effect you end up with the same outcome, but you also make sure that their team is weaker in the challenge.... just in case. Kudos to him for being aggressive and determining what the alliances were. Girls were not that bright or were just caught off guard and playing to him to get that immunity. They should have refused to tell him the votes. They seem to be playing a short term game and forgetting their tribe has to win.
Why do the men keep confiding/talking to Sarge? Do they think he will change his mind? The alliance is a done deal. The only hope is that he gets soooooo upset with Rory that the alliance falls apart. Not very likely. But Rory will be the first to go once the younger guys are all picked off.
