I still didn't see how Bobby knew that Jack was with his ex-girlfriend. They never showed Bobby seeing Jack go off with Missy (Misty?) so that part was confusing.
When Jack went off with his ex, I don't think Bobby was even around to know what was happening.

OMG. I can't believe people actually even think about watching this show.
I'd like to castrate the exec who thought, "Hm. Sounds awesome!"

I could swear that I remember Bobby seeing Jack and Missy go off together. I could be wrong though.
Also, not to say that I haven't liked the eps, but does anyone else think it could be getting a little old every week hearing at least one thing, event from the future that "almost ruined his political career" or "almost cost him the White House?"
How many of these events can happen to one man? I understand that it helps bring some dramatic tension, but come on. I just don't want the talking heads portion of the show to turn into telling the story about what almost ruined his career every week. Didn't anything good happen while he was president that could relate to his younger years?

I just watched the scene in question, and it's obvious that Bobby sees Jack and his ex go into the bathroom. Later, when Courtney shows up, that's when Bobby tries to run interference for Jack.

I finally saw this episode, and I liked it. I really like this series, even though I did not think that I would. I am going to make time on my schedule to watch it. It has already been picked up for the first season.
I think that Bobby was trying to keep that hottie Jessica Pare away because he figured that his brother would be nailing his ex, and he didn't want his brother to get caught, and he didn't want her to be hurt.

The lady is the biggest bitch on the commercials. If I wanted to watch some chick bitch all the time, I'd get married.
You can't tell me that there isn't supposed to be any sort of parallel with the other political Jack and Bobby.
Those two were reprehensible to me, and I would prefer not to watch some clones of them running around.
However, I do like the flashforwards.
