We were talking about Facts of Life an Different Strokes

Facts of Life went through various stages : little kids at Eastland; (working at some store?) ; then getting the Candy Shop with George Cloony. Then it ends when Blair gets married and buys the shop from Garret of something.


But for the life of me I can't remember how Different Strokes ended. I know Drummond got married, Sam that tool box joined the cast, Kimberly came back for an episode or two looking dammn fine, Willis I have no idea..

So could someone here help me find out what happened on these shows.

Now was Facts of Life a spin off of Diff Strokes? was she the house keeper - then left became the head of Eastland -

Diff'rent Strokes:

Mr. Drummond's wife leaves him and forms a Designing Company down south with three other women.

Kimberly and Willis have several "very special episodes" dealing with drug and alcohol. Kimberly eventually dies.

Arnold continues to be short and cute and still gets into trouble for at least a half an hour every week.

Yep -- Kimberly was an Eastland student (but obviously didn't live there). Mrs Garrett went to Visitors Weekend with Kimberly and ended up helping so many of the girls, that she was offered a job.

I had such a crush on Dana Plato

I never thought that Dana Plato was cute. Missy Gold, on the other hand....

How did Diff'rent Strokes end? It ended with Arnold frozen in carbonite, Mr. Drummond revealed HE was Willis' true father, and Kimberly just died of a drug over dose. It was a down ending because that's what life is, just a series of down endings, man.
