Damn NBC! I've noticed that Scrubs has been starting early the last two weeks. How does this time shifting and supersizing help or benefit anyone? It makes people annoyed that they missed the show - no more advertising gets seen because of it. Sounds like a loser to me.

It probably prevents people from channel surfing after their favorite show is over, since the other shows on other channels have already started.. .might as well watch whatever's on NBC next...
Also, I'm not sure how the ratings work, but I assume they're by half hour increments. If a monster show bleeds into the next half hour, I'm sure that half hour gets a ratings boost.
Don't get me wrong, as a fellow TIVO user I find the practice deplorable too...

This was the first Joey I had a chance to watch. Okay ep. I really guess it all depends on whether or not you liked the character of Joey to beging with, and I always found him annoying. Gina is a funny character, and I hope they give Drea a chance to show off more of her comic abilities in the future.
I am also so glad that they fired Ashley Scott from the role of the lawyer girl, as that woman would stink up the joint with her acting.
While I know it will never happen, I think this would be a great show to crossover with Entourage.

I like Drea as his sister, but they need to make her character a little less overbearing.
The girl who plays the lawyer did a better job in this ep.

Drea makes me feel funny. Like when you climb the rope in gym class.
The episode was pretty good, and I think the Sister and Son will end up being the focus of the show instead of Joey.

I just can't suspend my disbelief enough to think that Drea de Matteo could have a kid that old. I mean the age difference in real life is like 5 years. She must have really wanted the part to play as old as she is, since she isn't even 32 yet.

Very funny episode. I like the whole banter between all three leads.

I also enjoyed the episode.
I really like the inclusion of Joey's sister, as that makes for a female lead without the "will they or won't they" that plagued Friends in the final seasons.
I'm curious how they'll handle his neighbors husband though. That seems like a sticky plot point to introduce between your "romantic" leads.

DirecTV just turned on NBC in high definition today so it's Joey in widescreen HD tonight.

My favorite line was Joey's comeback after Michael repeats the "same handwriting teacher" line.

Gina: "Take her out to dinner and a movie."
Joey: "Take her a slice and some porn."
Gina: "What?"
Joey: "Hey, it worked on all of your friends."

This was a good episode. I'm wondering when Joey's furniture is going to show up? I have been reading that the Barcolounger is going to arrive along with the blue sketchboard from the back of Joey's apartment door.
I'm VERY glad "Hooray for Hollywood" was dropped as the theme song. Phew!
