IMHO, I thought Gold's mugshot was better than the headshot of Ashley Johnson posted in this thread.

Didn't she learn anything from that GP episode where her boyfriend was killed in a car accident while DUI? Guess not.
I have a shiny new cyber quarter for the first person who can name the actor who played the boyfriend in that episode.

Remember that episode when Jason turns 40 and his old band gets back together and he lip synchs "Old Time Rock N Roll" with Bibleman Cameron?

Boy that was lame. Embarassingly lame. First season of TNG embarassingly lame.

I'm surprised by this. She seemed to have it together after her anorexia struggle and seemed pretty cool on The Mole.

I have a feeling that she'll be punishing herself for this long after the legal system is finished doing it.

I actually saw the accident since I live fairly close to where she crashed. That car looked BAD!

Coincidentally, there was a show on VH1 yesterday with a story about she and her children that lasted about 5 minutes or so.

Charges against 'Growing Pains' star
Three felony counts against Tracey Gold
Friday, September 24, 2004 Posted: 1302 GMT (2102 HKT)

VENTURA, California (AP) -- Prosecutors filed three felony counts Thursday against former "Growing Pains" star Tracey Gold in the alleged drunken driving rollover crash of her sport utility vehicle.

Tracey Gold Marshall, 35, was at the wheel of the SUV when it flipped on a highway in Moorpark on September 3, injuring her husband and two of her three children, authorities said.

The district attorney's office filed charges of driving under the influence of alcohol causing bodily injury, driving with a blood alcohol level in excess of 0.08 causing injury and felony child endangerment, Senior Deputy District Attorney Kim Gibbons said.

The maximum sentence would be five years in prison, Gibbons said. But he also said it was common for people in such cases to receive probation or a lesser amount of jail time.

The Marshalls' home phone number was unlisted and the actress couldn't be reached for comment.

Blair Berk, a lawyer who represents Marshall, declined to discuss details of the incident.

"Tracey is a wonderful mother and incredibly respected in her community. Hopefully the truth of what really occurred will be more important to people than speculation or headlines," Berk said.

She is scheduled for arraignment on October 19 and plans to plead not guilty, her lawyer said.

Marshall wasn't hurt when the SUV flipped, but her husband, Roby Marshall, 39, suffered neck injuries. The couple's 7-year-old son suffered a broken collarbone, and their 5-year-old son was cut, said California Highway Patrol officer Steve Reid.

A 4-month-old son also in the vehicle wasn't hurt. Berk said the 5-year-old was also uninjured.

The SUV veered off the highway just before midnight and rolled over on its way down an embankment, Reid said.

Marshall played Carol Seaver during the seven-year run of "Growing Pains," which ended production in 1992.
