Makes sense - FOX's new season (they have 3 a year now) starts right after the new year.

Fox always has their schedule showing that things are going to air. Originally they had Tru Calling starting much earlier than they bumped it. I won't pay attention to what their website says.
Maybe they're willing to give it another chance since most of their reality shows has bombed so far this season... Next Big Champ, Swan, MBFO Boss (which is actually good), Rebel Billionaire (also good)...
Ahh, who am I kidding. They'll just fill up the time with extra Idol specials. |
Still no official word if its been canceled yet. Just rumors of the set being destroyed.
^^ Yeah, actually, I just heard they are going to THREE live American Idol shows a week. THREE. I mean, really...is this necessary? Ive never seen so much air time wasted as one of their "vote off" shows.
I thought Tru Calling had already been cancelled...good to hear theres still a very remote chance. |

I don't mind this show being cancelled, then Eliza can do what she should be doing, Faith the series !
Original, I agree! I still want Tru though :(
Well shit.
Either announce when it's coming back or put a bullet in it. This is ridiculous -ohbfrank- |

It seems to me that no one bothered to watch The Weakest Link. |
We have a start date! (from futoncritic.com)
One of our most frequently asked questions got answered today as FOX has finally scheduled the second season premiere of "Tru Calling." The sophomore drama, which FOX confirmed in January won't be picked up for a third season, will debut with back-to-back episodes on Thursday, March 31 beginning at 8:00/7:00c. Said broadcast will replace the previously announced repeats of "The O.C." on the night ("The Family Ties" and "The Power of Love"). The following week, "Tru" will take over the Thursday, 9:00/8:00c slot currently occupied by "Point Pleasant." That series will head to hiatus while "The O.C." will remain at 8:00/7:00c. |
awesome news
Well at least I'll get a chance to see them now.
...and we're bumping
let's make this the 'offcial' tru calling thread, as i've closed three this morning...please post any sort of ..info here unless threads are being created for each individual episode to air..thank you..
I cant believe they are actually promoting it. On top of that, they are promoting it as the season premiere, even though they know its only 6 episodes. Weird.

Who cares? Just watch them, even if you've already seen them, so that the ratings are decent enough to show FOX what idiots they were.
So what ae they going to do if the show actually pulls in okay this time? Granted, I doubt it will given the competition in that time slot. But given that they cancelled it and the cast and crew may have already moved on... would they even be able to bring it back if they wanted to?
No, many cast members, along with writers and producers, will already be working on other projects.
