I voted for John. I was originally going to go with Gary after his set, but John really impressed me.

As far as the guest comics, I thought the grandma was absolutely hilarious. I laughed more at her set than I have at most of the regular comics sets that have been on the show.

I vote for John twice and Alonzo once. I also agree that Grandma Lee had the best set of the night.

as for a sitcom, Heffron would be the best choice. He would make a great sitcom character. But for stand-up(comedy special), the other two have him beat. All 3 are great and have their strengths and weaknesses.

Both Gary and John dissapointed me, but I thought Alonzo was pretty good, even though his jokes were ancient.

I would put John and Alonzo in a dead heat for my favorite.

i think everyone has a dissapointing night, and Alonzo did, but he's undoubtedly the best comic when it comes to America's choice, i hope he's LCS. he deserves it

I don't really care who wins because compared to last season I'd be happy with any one of these three. They are all pretty good. I think Alonzo has been the best throughout the run of the show, but he may have lost it with those used up premises. I liked Heffron the best this round.

I'd put Gary at the bottom of the three, but he should get credit for having the toughest path to get to this point, and he was good enough that it wouldn't bother me if he won. I would be surprised though.

Is it true that they are having the people from the first two seasons ALL back for Last Comic Standing 3?

Ralphie is bombing. Weak that he brought out the Jack-in-the-Box routine; worse that he stumbled through it. Glad to see some new material, though.

yea i hate dat, i laughed for a second when he first made fun of old kung fu movies, but that was it. AND WHY CANT HE DO ANYTHING BESIDES JOKES RELATED TO BEING ASIAN!! i mean i dont care if he did some but thats all he does unlike ralphie who does some fat jokes but doesnt base his entire set on it.

I'm just watching it now and Ralphie May is one unfunny fat ****. I didn't watch last year's show, so I was hoping he might be decent. It's pretty nasty when all you see is the guy's fat jiggle around his neck as he talks. Terribly unfunny. Dat isn' t going to be any better will he?

Ralphie May was first runner-up last time? Holy crap, they must've had some real hacks if this guy made it to the finals. His set was the worst of anyone's this season. That ghetto talk nonsense was terrible.

Dat Phan was a little better, although when he puts on a Chinese accent, he actually sounded Irish.

The final surprise was the announcement of Season 3 consisting of Season 1 vs. Season 2. Too bad NBC revealed it by airing promos for S3, during the show. NBC promo people should shampoo my crotch.

Well, I really liked Dat last year even though I seem to be in the minority. But I agree, his stuff just wasn't funny this time. I never liked Ralphie last season, and I still don't like him this season. None of the abbreviated acts were really funny tonight. Happy with outcome of the winner though, he got all my votes.

I never saw Season 1, so this is the first time I've seen Ralphie or Dat. Dat sucks, why did he win?

all that happened is they talked about the new season that will start august 30th. its all the comics from this season vs all the comics from last season but they didnt say what the specifics were of how its gonna work because according to jay mohr, "fox would steal it" :)
