Danny Phantom

Word is that some Danny Phantom merchandise is due out in 2005. Does this include a DVD release? I really enjoy that show (it's the latest Nicktoon).

My kids like it and I've only seen a few episodes, but I like the style and the character design.

There is only one episode on DVD and its in the Nick Kid Picks #1. It's the episode titled "Bitter Reunions" with Danny's father's college buddy as the bad guy.

I like this show and was delighted to hear the voices of David Caradine and Eric Roberts in the "Ultimate Enemy" extended episode.

I think Burger King currently has toys in their kid's meals.

mmm..not sure. All I know is that the cartoon is about a 14yr. old kid whose parents are ghost hunters, they create a portal to go into a "ghost zone", but it does not work, so Danny (their son) goes in, accidentaly switches the portal on and his DNA get mixed with ghost DNA(?) and he becomes half ghost and half boy...are those comics similar to this story?

No, the Phantom he's talking about is the guy who lived in the jungle dressed in a purple jumpsuit... briefly a part of a cartoon series with Flash Gordan, and in a movie starring Billy Zane that's been largely forgotten.

It's Flash Gordon not Gordan. And the film is, sadly, highly underrated. It's just good old school adventure movie.

There's nothing like Treat Williams laughing madly holding three jeweled heads with light pulsing from their eyes.

Good flick.
