I read a while ago that there was talk of a new Quantum Leap series that was to lead on from Sam and AL.
The story was that Sam's daughter that he had in the show was to take over the role and search for Sam Beckett as at the end of the series Sam vanished.

Anyone else heard about this?

Someone posted that in the Enterprise thread yesterday. I hadn't heard of it. If they do it, I'd probably watch. Although, the thought of no Sam, Al or Gushy makes me

I think it was on sci-fi list of proposed stuff, but that list was like 3 years old

Dean Stockwell just recently signed for "Quantum Leap: A Bold Leap Forward" that will air on the Sci-Fi channel in 2005 and will feature the adventures of Sam Beckett's DAUGHTER. Scott Bakula is not involved in the project (probably because of his commitment to ENTERPRISE), and the TV movie is a possible pilot for a new series.

Sounds like Quantum Leap was going into the future.

any truth to that or still fanboy rumors and wishes?

This was an episode right. I think I remember seeing it. After reading it I wish the would re-run Quantum Leap, there are plenty of eps I missed.

Has this show made it to box set immortality yet?

Hopefully Sci-Fi doesn't ruin the show like they did with Sliders.

The first two seasons have been released.

I'd rather see Bakula play Sam, as Captain of the Enterprise, he's not doing a good job.

I'd like to find out that Archer is Sam, and future guy was Al trying to get in touch with Sam
