When Sean gets in a brutal car accident and escapes unscathed, he must face his own mortality and whether or not he has taken enough risks in his life. Unfortunately, his examination gets taken to the extreme and he must realize what is ultimately most important to him. When Julia can't bear her own guilt anymore, she is forced to reveal her deepest secret.
Pretty solid episode last night. Been a rough 2 weeks for Christian.

I agree! Great episode. A whole new can of worms will be opened
She gets on my nerves as she is cast to do.
I wonder if Matt
I really enjoy this show! It's be a while since I really looked forward to watching something on a weekly basis. It's a bit edgy & a fun ride!

What an improvement over last week. Certainly the best episode of the season so far and it looks like next week should be great too.
Unfortunately, this is probably the end of Jesslyn Gilsig as Gina - great actress and great character.
2 great lines:
"Not even Christian would get laid in an Audi wagon."
"Get your coat and your bitch on...."

Another great episode. The only weak portion of the show IMO was Sean's seemingly "midlife" crisis. Some great moments with Christian, though: him professing his unconditional love for Wilbur at the hearing, him talking with Wilbur just before he is taken away, etc. Hopefully Julian McMahon will be recognized for the phenomenal work he is doing by the Emmys next year.

The only thing I hated about the whole Wilbur situtaion was Christian's constant "My Son" reference.
He wasn't his son, he didn't adopt him. I can understand his feelings for the child having a 3 yo. old myself but his emotions made it seem someone was taking HIS son away.

I think fatherhood, beyond the biological aspects of it, really got to him. I don't find it far-fetched.

What was that line Christian used while operating. Something to the extent he was performing an dickinsectomy?
edit: I think it was slipindicktomy he said.

I think they are setting Christian up for an emmy nomination. This season my opinion of Christian has changed completely. This show now ranks right under 'The Shield" as my favorite show on tv.

Major improvement over last week, even w/out an appearance from Famke.
She did a good job, but I hope Jesalyn Gelsig's tour of duty on this show is over. And I hope I never have to hear the name Wilbur again.
My favorite part of the show was Sean eating the blowfish. His expression after the 15 seconds went by was excellent. It had me laughing my ass off.
You knew Christian would be scary-boy's father - so no surprise there. Now when is the marriage going to end? When Sean finds out? Or before? If it's not over before the end of the season there better be a battle royale between the three or four of them.
Annie has been in two eps in a row - amazing.

I finally figured out why I'm not enjoying this show as much this year. Last year, the story revolved around how the patients affected the doctors. This year, it's revolving around the doctors more than anything else. I definitely don't like it as much, but I still enjoy the show a great deal.

Good episode (finally watched it last night). I did feel really bad for Christian as he had to finally say goodbye to Wilbur. But the scenes between him and Sean regarding his emotional pain at that moment was stretched a little thin, revealing Christian's all-too-typical "me-centric-ness" that's plagued his entire life.

So are they ever going to deal with the Matt and his hit and run again? They left it with him saying he didnt have anything to do with it a few weeks ago and left his friend to rot in prison. Is that it?
