Drew Carrey Show Question
Possible spoilers...
I guess I missed a couple of episodes. Recently I saw one where Mimi and Gus (who was now 8 years older) were living with Drew. What happened to Drews brother? Did he die or did he leave Mimi and the kid?

He left them, so Mimi moved in. The real reason he left the show was because he went on the short lived Brotherhood of Poland something or other.

I have actually watched all of the episodes from this season and really enjoyed them. I was a loyal fan for the first number of seasons, but I gave up after it was moved around so much. I have also pitched up Whose Line Is It Anyway? again, which was one of my favorite shows for ages. I found that it got stale after a while, but after skipping it for a while, it seems great again.
As for your question, it was answered above. Steve cheated, Mimi threw him out, he repented, she took him back, and he left.
As for Gus, he aged a number of years during the summer. I think that on the soccer episode, it mentioned that he was 5 though.

I'm getting pretty annoyed with how these episodes seem to be shown out of order... either that or they're often written so choppily that I can't figure out what's happened in the back story.
I somehow missed that Drew's brother had left. Apparently I also missed an episode where Drew's dad died, although I did see the funeral episode. Mimi seems to be living with him somedays and somedays not (although a few times she does go on vacation). The season has been pretty hilarious in my opinion, but the plot lines seem to be horribly messed up.

Drew
This seasons episodes are being shown out of order, with many of them being skipped entirely.
I believe Mimi lives with Drew because her house burnt down, and then Steve ran off.
I don't think they showed the episodes where the house burning/Steve leaving occurred nor the one where Drew's dad died. ABC seems to be avoiding the more dramatic ones and airing the rest out of order.
