I know that the umbrella was obvious, I was just stating that this is what the writers/directors are shooting for.

They are trying to make the death an element of surprise. You thought he would rape/murder the girl, yet he's the one who got killed.
What would be surprising is a normal death. You'd have to have been in a coma for the last 2 years to be fooled by their obvious, and now annoying, misdirection. I really wish they'd stop trying to trick us, because it's just getting lazy now. It's probably the only aspect of the show I don't like.

Thanks Claire. That is exactly something Claire would say.

What did the "lisa voice' say about the number 3?

Because Lisa died in Season 3.

Does anyone know if we will see the return of Kathy Bates. I think some of the funniest episodes involved her and Ruth last season. It would be great to see her come back.

She and I have something else in common. We'd both like some "lessons" from Mena Suvari.

BTW...when 6 feet under tries to create an 'interesting' 'wild' and 'desirable' female character --- Brenda and Mena Suvari --- they come out as annoying popmos asses...

...If I knew the Mena Suavari character in College, I would have thought 'What an annoying moron'...then I would have humped her anyway.

^ Considering her tastes, I think a gun would've been involved...
