Sci-Fi network will be showing the new Farscape mini-series, starting Sunday, October 17th.

I'm totally geeking out right now...

Yup. Just saw the promo on Sci-Fi. I'm not a fan, but I'm glad for those who are.

I'm halfway into Season 3 watching the DVD's... I hope I can get caught up to the end of the series, so I can watch it on TV when the mini series airs... being the sci fi geek I am, I refuse to watch anything out of order.

I'm not sure if a box set of seaon 4 will be out by October, but you can easily get caught up, either through netflix, or just buying the individual releases, which are pretty cheap at deepdiscount.

Did they ever release the season 3 boxset? I actually bought all the individual releases for season 3, but held off on season 4.

I guess I'll just wait for the season 4 boxset. I was going to pick up the individual releases, but I'll try and be patient. I really want to go back and watch all of season 4 again though.

I think it would probably be safe to assume that the season 4 box will be out before it airs in October.

Does anyone know of a way to just buy the box for season 3? Last time before the season 2 boxset was released I just sold the individual discs on ebay. I didn't know the packaging would be exactly the same minus the outside box. I thought they were going to use the slimmer cases from season 1.

While that would make sense, I would not assume that at all.

Season 1: October 2003
Season 2: October 2003
Season 3: August 2004

There's been quite a gap between the season sets. I'd doubt they'll rush the 4th one out only a month or two after the 3rd.

Either buying the 5 individual volumes or using Netflix will be the way to go to get Season 4 before October.
