Joe Shmoe 2 - 7/05
"
-- do you have any parting gifts... uh -- excuse me.. parting words?"
lol.. this episode was hilarious. Too bad my ReplayTV cut it off early. I'll just have to watch the reairing later this week.
P.S. Just recently received the Season 1 DVD. Hope it's as much fun as this season has been..

I actually prefer the first season, although they added some nice twists in with last nights ep... the new "Jane" Schmo is much more gullable than Ingrid

geralds "results" in the lie detector test were awesome.
as much as I liked Bryce's character, he did a good job saying farewell ("mockingbird, mockingbird, mockingbird").

the only thing that they really screwed up on was the "secrets."
tim and bryce's secrets were from earlier episodes of the show, yet gerald's photo was a picture send in from the outside world.

So they had to quickly edit out 30 minutes, so that it would fit into a 60 minute timeslot. That is why the editing was so herky jerky. Muggum was very depressed about this and is trying to beg SpikeTV to air the full 90 minute episode before next weeks new episode. Maybe we will even be able to see it tonight, during it's regularly scheduled 7pm telecast. So I would suggest watching (Tivo/taping) tonights episode just in case they do show the full 90 minutes.
If not, we might have to wait until the DVD to see Matt Kennedy Gould's appearance on the show, which was cut out last night!

That episode was great. Seemed rushed like other have pointed out already. The new Jane Doe is great and really seemed sad for Bryce.
As far as the DVD goes, I know from other sources that "Molly's" slip is still blurred.

Ralph Garman (the host) and whoever plays Bryce are awesome.
God, that guy has not only the psycho look down, but seriously has all the right manuerisms and creepy speaking paterns.
Best part was when Piper's father was talking serious with the guys at the dinner table about 'taking care' of his daughter and such, when Bryce comes out and says (paraphrased)
"No, No. I would never hurt Piper I would NEVER hurt her. I mean, there have been chances where.......... this is... this is a crazy environment in this house and I could have ....... ......... ........ I could have protected her if... anything... had happened.. I would never hurt Piper."
Just brilliant. Anyone else think he was going to choke Piper when he gave her the hug after being evicted?
I love the writing on this show. Far above the first season's.
Ralph is extremely good at not breaking character or giggling at those lines.

Whoever predicted last week the whole thing with Ingrid was right on.
This episode was the funniest this season, I'm pissed they cut it down to an hour. Was looking forward to the original Joe Schmo's appearance.

I believe I was the one who predicted Ingrid would stay on (or at least I said it would be a good idea) ....thank you....Now they need to give her more to do, maybe come on to Tim or something.
