My favorite episode! Nelson: What is this place? Bart: Branson, Missouri. My dad says it's like Vegas... if it were run by Ned Flanders Nelson at the Andy Williams show.. (the look on his face) Nelson: I didn't think he'd do "Moon River," but then -- bam! -- second encore! Moments from other shows 1. Bart stealing the coin jar from Homer (Indiana Jones spoof). 2. The newspaper shot of Bart in the Gays Rights parade. 3. “Sun and Run” The sun tan location that’s also a laxative. |

The Cape Fear & The X Files episodes are absolutely hilarious
One of my fav exchanges from x-files ep: Homer: See Marge, you don't see any 'Homer is a Dope' t-shirts do you? Salesman: Ehhh, we ran out of those in 5 minutes. Homer (to Marge who's wearing a 'Homer is a Dope' shirt): Marge, how could you?! Marge: It's 100% cotton, and look at the fine stitching on 'Dope!' Homer (to salesman): I'll take 2! |
A second vote for the time-traveling toaster. Best part is Homer accidentally sitting on the primodial fish.
I also love the entire Sherry Bobbins episode, especially when she flies off into the sunset and gets sucked into a jet intake. |

Another is the ep "das bus" where homer starts his own internet company, then the comic guy calls him up because his captain janeway nude pics are d/l slow.
Homer: Welcome to the Internet, my friend, how can I help you? Comic Book Guy: I'm interested in upgrading my 28.8 kilobaud Internet connection to a 1.5 megabit fiber optic T1 line. Will you be able to provide an IP router that's compatible with my token ring ethernet LAN configuration? Homer: [stares blankly for a few seconds] Can I have some money now? |
"Lisa the Vegetarian"
When I tell people this, they look at me funny since most fans I know are not big on Lisa. But that episode has so many great lines and moments, from the Petting Zoo to Homer's BBBQ to the Troy McClure film. |

So many ...
I can't pin down a favorite episode, but two moments that always stick in my mind are the Halloween zombie episode: "Dad, you just shot zombie Flanders!" "Flanders was a zombie?" And the discovery of Mr. Burns bear: "Apu, there's a head in this bag of ice." "Oh ... a head bag ... full of heady goodness." Those two quick moments always make me laugh and manage to work themselves into being quoted often. :) |
